Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted April 27, 2003 Yep. Saw it in my town's indie theater back in November and loved it. It doesn't have quite the epic scope of Princess Mononoke, but it's still a great Miyazaki movie. The animation is amazing, and the whole thing has such a weird charm that I couldn't help but like it. Gotta give it up for the radish monster.

Ok, done with that. Fan-fuckin-tastic film, one of the best I've seen in a long time and probably my favorite animation, period. Disney's got nothin' on Miyazaki. Guest red_file Report post Posted April 28, 2003 The animation was amazing, but the story left a bit to be desired, especially when judged against Miyazaki's previous work.
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted April 28, 2003 I prefer Spirited Away over most of Miyazaki's work, but it should be noted that I'm completely sick of Mononoke. I saw it opening weekend and then took my family to see it the week after, it's awesome.
Guest Marshall Report post Posted April 29, 2003 It blew me away. But I couldn't stop thinking of Alice In Wonderland all the way through.
Guest CED Ordonez Report post Posted April 29, 2003 I'll probably pick it up for a viewing once it hits DVD. Is there even a timeline for a DVD release right now?
