Yep. Saw it in my town's indie theater back in November and loved it. It doesn't have quite the epic scope of Princess Mononoke, but it's still a great Miyazaki movie. The animation is amazing, and the whole thing has such a weird charm that I couldn't help but like it. Gotta give it up for the radish monster.

*Ahem* His name is the Radish Spirit.

Ok, done with that. Fan-fuckin-tastic film, one of the best I've seen in a long time and probably my favorite animation, period. Disney's got nothin' on Miyazaki.

The animation was amazing, but the story left a bit to be desired, especially when judged against Miyazaki's previous work.

I prefer Spirited Away over most of Miyazaki's work, but it should be noted that I'm completely sick of Mononoke. I saw it opening weekend and then took my family to see it the week after, it's awesome.

It blew me away. But I couldn't stop thinking of Alice In Wonderland all the way through.

I'll probably pick it up for a viewing once it hits DVD. Is there even a timeline for a DVD release right now?
