Yeah that one rules!

Also what about "who are you to judge Big Slow if you've never stepped into a ring?"

There's no good way to spin a match involving Big Show.

What if he falls off of a building again?

Only if Monster Trucks are involved...

"It's a building process, they are getting better."

(It's great how they don't actually *build* something after the building process is over - since it seems to have gone on forever and they still produce the same show over and over again - and it never *gets* better. But hey, keep the faith.)

"At least it isn't the late-2000 version of the Big Show"

I like how they always mention that it "takes time" to build new stars when they don't even try. Well, except for their personal hoss projects like Brock.

"The Law of Averages says that the more matches Big Show and Brock have together the greater are the chances of a good match.... This could be that match!"

What about those hot young stars like Steiner, HBK, and Kevin Nash?

Don't forget about Test. He has unlimited potential!

yep it's only a matter of time until Big Show and Brock pull off a five star classic that will be talked about forever.

I remember people putting over the first Brock/Slow match. People were talking about how great the build was and how it made Show into a monster. The F-5 was put over too.

It's all about trying to get the steak and the sizzle right... Can't have too much steak, or too much sizzle... it has to be balanced.

Steak.

Sizzle.

It's all Bullshit in the end.

Yeah...The Build Up Was Superb...Thanks to Heyman but The match was aside from being a SUPER HOT crowd...meaningless and forgetable.

I soo miss the hoss report.

Remember when Ross would put Albert WAY over for months and months? He would claim Albert is a future main event player? And then we all mocked him saying it would never happen and that Albert is a jobber forever?

.....so sad.

That would have been a lot better a storyline if Show hadn't been jobbing to Jeff Hardy a week before.

I'm curious if you guys just like all little to regular sized guys, or if it's just a talent thing.

I mean, do you just hate the giant types automatically or what?

Good times.

I particularly liked him trying to say "this match will suck - I'm so sorry" with "It's going to be a very old-style match up, with a more slow, deliberate pace with old school storytelling. It may not be to some fans' tastes, but both men will certainly do their best do give the fans their moneys worth" With Judgement day coming up and the possible Nash/HHH and Show/Lesnar match, there would be SO MUCH material to work with.

Come back JR, we love ya. C'mon, you don't commentate any more, throw us all a big BBQ-sauce-covered bone and bullshit us somemore.

Most people here are 5'6 or rather 4'11 like Barron and have a Complex when it comes to 6'10 Giants.

Hoss and suck go hand in hand. I hate hosses because they suck. They suck because they're really big.

Yes, RRR. That was the best. Remember Crips/UT at KOR? It was either Crips or UT(or maybe both) that did interviews with WWE.com saying how the match was more "old school" and "methodical" and "not what they had expected" or whatever.

I also remember Ross putting over how old school RVD/Crips would be at Unforgiven.

It's definately a talent thing.

Some big guys can not-suck when they try. (Lesnar, Kane sometimes) Others are decent-good. (Vader). Most just suck. (Like Ross' bitches: Albert and Bull Buchanan)

Oh yeah...his scores. They could put on the worst ppv of all time and he would give it "a solid 7 out of 10".

And everything was "from where he sat".

It's mainly a talent thing with me, but I also hate the big guys who are portrayed as slow lumbering giants who's wrestling style is "I club you".

Well just picture Thing as a wrestler..."It's clobbering time"

We generally like Brock. It's mainly a talent thing. Big Show can't do much in the ring but punch, headbutt, big boot, and chokeslam. Plus, because of his size, there isn't much an opponent can do with him. Most people can't easily suplex him so it takes a hell of a lot of effort and makes the aggressor tire out quickly.

Good power wrestlers are well liked WHEN they actually come around. However, aside from Vader they are hard to come by.

Honestly, Albert is better than most hosses and actually surprises me once in a while, but he doesn't consistantly have watchable matches and is repulsive to look at (except to Buffy).

However, in general smaller wrestlers are quicker, more agile, have more diverse movesets, can be thrown around and bump easier than the biggies, and don't plod all around the ring. They also tend to be less injury prone since they are more flexible and keep in better shape.

Big Show is only being pushed for being big. Not for hard work, not for getting over, not for demonstrating drawing power. He's big. That's all he's got, since he's no longer as agile as he once was.

Pushing him for his size is a slap in the face to all the harder-working guys on the roster who get used as stepping stones for Vince's flavor of the month.

Hell, after Vince himself..I think Ross is the next biggest problem the WWE has. Followed by HHH, and Taker..in that order.
