Most Underrated Indy Wrestler

Recommended Posts

Guest Jimmy Saint

Watch Collyer's Mpro stuff in Japan or matches from the UK vs Jonny Storm + Doug Williams. Then try and tell me the guy is boring, has no charisma and can't work a crowd. Plus he has no look ? who gives a shit, 95% of the people mentioned in this thread either have no look or look like they are 12 year old backyarders. Oh and theres the pretty good plus point that he can wrestle rings around almost anyone out there in the indys today.

Chunk, Tighe is a star in the making. He will be getting tours in the next few years.

Virtually everyone with talent from Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Austin Aries, Kamikaze Ken Anderson (who has been on Heat), Adrian Lynch, Horace the Psychopath, Mitch Paradise, Magnus Maximus.

The people I listed actually can WORK, and don't just drop guys on their heads randomly to see if it gets a reaction (and if that doesn't work, they don't light each other on fire) like most of the east coast guys do.

If I would have had this question a year and a half ago I would have definitely said CM Punk and Colt Cabana, back when they were putting on ***** matches up in St. Paul for Steel Domain. It looks like now that they are finally getting the respect they deserve nationwide.

I've only seen Anderson once, vs. Colt Cabana in the opener of the TPI, and while he had a decent look, nothing he did impressed me too much. I haven't seen enough of him to judge.

Mondo keeps saying good things about Horace, but I've seen none of Horace's work, so I can't judge him either.

I saw an Austin Aries/Ken Anderson match from IWA-MS that I really dug. Wish Austin would come back more often.
