Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted April 30, 2003 I love that each and every guy I picked way back before the playoffs started is a nominee. Only guy I'd change is Turco to Brodeur. Other than that...Forsberg for the Hart, MacInnis for the Norris, Zetterberg for the Calder, Martin for the Adams, Lehtinen for the Selke and Modano for the Lady Byng. He put up great numbers and when you factor in that he played on a team that spread their scoring out amongst everyone it's even more impressive. Guest Slingshot Suplex Report post Posted May 1, 2003 Mostly because Lidstrom doubled MacInnis' +/-. But Al would be just as deserving. Pronger being out is why I voted Jackman the Calder. Zetterberg had a terrific 2nd half but Jackman stepped in and filled a huge void all year. The Madden/Lehtinen hinged on the same thing .Lehtinen was a +39 and Madden was a +15 or 11. I'm really looking forward to what he's going to do in the coming years. I feel that it's a relatively crappy year in comparison to the last 10 years or so: winners included Forsberg, Belfour, Alfredsson, Bure, Brodeur, Selanne, Samsonov, Drury. Last year you had TWO bona fide stars in Heatley and Kovalchuk. I just think that Zetterberg will be a good player, but be more comparable with the Nabokov, Gomez, Berard type winners.
