Back when he was just starting out townfolk would flock to his parents house when he was home for autographs. I also have my pic with him at the local fair from about 12 or so years ago when he was just breaking in. Another guy from our school played in the A's farm system in the late 1990's but I forget his name. I think it was Mike Kordner or something like that. Ram QB, now announcer) Eric Bieniemy (former Colorado RB, played for Cincy and SD in NFL, now UCLA RB coach) Daylon McCutcheon - was a senior when I was a freshman, was a RB/CB but switched to corner exclusively at USC, plays for Cleveland Ralph Brown - former Nebraska CB, played for NY Giants Kory Minor - linebacker, played for ND, played in NFL with Carolina Ramogi Huma - linebacker, played for UCLA, involved in attempts to obtain stipends for student-athletes Joey Getherall - had classes with him, ND wide reciever Michael Wagner - actually tutored him once, currently Iowa State running back Chris Rix - was there, my brother knew him, he played as a freshman but was forced to leave because of cheating, transferred to Santa Margurita HS. Also, Alyn McCauley, who used to play for the Leafs and is on the Sharks now was born here, but grew up about a half hour down the road and Todd Gill, who plays for the Blackhawks now (I think) lives in town here and sometimes you'll see him downtown.
