Guest SweetNSexyDiva Posted May 2, 2003 Report Posted May 2, 2003 I have been hooked on the Xanth series since I picked out my first Piers Anthony book out at the library when I was 11. I remember it was Ogre, Ogre. I was never into Sci-Fi before.

Xanth was OK for a while, but once the puns started coming fast and furious it got to be too much for me. I also didn't care for his Dragon's Gold series either. What I DO like are his hybrid and sci-fi stuff. The Adept series was pretty good, except for the unnecessary Phaze Doubt. Incarnations of Immortality has that uniqueness where you can read the first 6 books in any order and still make sense of the series (you have to read the last, "And Eternity" last or you get lost on some points). And the Mode series was quite cool, even if it was one of his worst selling series.
Guest SweetNSexyDiva Posted May 7, 2003 Report Posted May 7, 2003 I really liked the Incarnations of Immortality. I haven't read the other series yet though. The puns are what got me hooked, but then again I was....12... lol. I haven't read anything he has written recently, if there is anything.
