Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted May 2, 2003 A friend of mine is working on accurate move sets for Team Angle in SD Shut Your Mouth. I have several Team Angle matches on tape, but right now busy with writing a final paper. Could you guys maybe reply with some moves you noticed they use a lot? Ones I know... Haas: Haas of Pain--anything similar in the game? Various armbars Benjamin: Superkick Spinning Kick (what would be the closest once in the game?) Double Team: Superkick to German Suplex Benjamin's leapfrog onto his opponent's back while Haas holds him up on the second rope by grabbing the opponent's ankles. Haas: Haas of Pain--anything similar in the game? - Edgucation comes the closest Various armbars Benjamin: Superkick - Use Roughhouse Kick 2, although that's just an Enzuiguri. Spinning Kick (what would be the closest once in the game?) - Move is actually in the game, but is not a finisher. Not sure. Double Team: Superkick to German Suplex - Superkick to Tiger Suplex comes the closest. Benjamin's leapfrog onto his opponent's back while Haas holds him up on the second rope by grabbing the opponent's ankles. - Nothing doing. Sadly there is nothing in the game that even comes close. Guest The Superstar Report post Posted May 2, 2003 Haas also uses an Exploder Suplex, I believe, as well as a bunch of other suplexes.
Guest TonyJaymzV1 Report post Posted May 2, 2003 You could use Rico's Spinning Kick as Benjamins finisher.
Guest TheBigCalbowski Report post Posted May 4, 2003 Haas of Pain - Either use the Edgecator or Texas Cloverleaf 2 Shelton Benjamin's finishers - use Superkick and Judgement Slam(some people say that's an old finisher of his)
Guest Lightning Flik Report post Posted May 4, 2003 Haas of Pain - Either use the Edgecator or Texas Cloverleaf 2 Shelton Benjamin's finishers - use Superkick and Judgement Slam(some people say that's an old finisher of his) The Judgement Slam was his old finisher in OVW. Why he's not using it now, I've got no idea. Then again, he really hasn't had a chance to use his finisher, so maybe we'll be seeing it.
Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted May 5, 2003 On Heat he always used the 360 spinning kick to finish things, so I'm guessing it's his finisher.

That's the Money Clip as it was called on Smackdown (or as EWR had it, and it was originally called on Heat: Dragon Whip). It's not as great as his other move is. Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted May 5, 2003 Does the game have Eddy Guererro's "Lasso from El Paso?" I'm pretty uneducated about wrestling holds and what puts pressure on where, but I always thought that looked rather close to the Haas of Pain to me (and oddly enough, since Team Angle was created, Eddy has stopped using that move.) As for the doubleteam, I'd just use the superkick into rollup. It suits them best.

It's now the Dragon Whip, and was the Money Clip on HeAt. Here's what I used: Haas: Edgecator T-Bone 2 Benjamin: Superkick 2 Rico Spinkick
