Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted May 3, 2003 Weird WrestleMania story I didn't tell you guys in my report, just because I met so many wrestling fans and this didn't really stand out at first: While waiting in the hotel lobby for the Taxi to take us to the show, there were two young women waiting around as well. One lookd a little too tanned and wearing some crazy makeup, and the other was a much larger girl who made the other's makeup job look normal. We're talking VERY into goth here. My mom jokingly mentioned her in the elevator to me and said "Did you see Elvira down there?" Well, we see them again after packing up and seeing my WM shirt, they start chatting with us. Me:"So, where are you going to be sitting?" Them: "Oh we got seats up near the front, because we know some of the wrestlers." "Oh, who?" "The Hardy Boys." "(skeptical, but not showing it) You're from the east coast?" "No. (northern California city, forgot which)." "How'd you manage to meet the Hardys there?" "They were wrestling." "Oh." (so I sit there for a bit. They start up again) "We met them after Raw, and they gave us front row tickets to SmackDown, and we were so shocked.. And then they were like, 'you want tickets to WrestleMania' and we were like... OH MAN and..." (at this point I sort of fake interest while checking for our cab) I have no idea as to the validity of their story, but being dragged into conversation by two girls, one being dressed sorta skankier-than-thou and the other gother-than-thou, going on about knowing the Hardys... Mecha Mummy 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2003 I'm with AS, Jeff Hardy should get some real wrestling training and work the mat-based stuff. Constant highspots are for ECW mutants and former XPW employees. Now, wouldn't that just stun his fans. You know if he wrestled on the mat and all, he'd probably be a heel. Jeff actually said in an interview that he would like to turn heel and do so by not doing high-spots anymore and just mat-wrestling. I would have loved to see that. Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted May 3, 2003 Steiner's DEFINITELY done roids, being that freakishly huge is not possible naturally or with legal supplements. HHH, there could still be SOME reasonable doubt he's not using, and sticking with the freakish workout ethic and that Weider stuff he endorses.
Guest Memphis Report post Posted May 3, 2003 I read an interview with the Dynamite Kid in a UK wrestling magazine 'Power Slam' (we get them here in Oz) and he stated that (without actually mentioning his name, but you knew who he was referring to) Triple H was on steroids because no amount of working out or busting ass can give you that sort of physique, it's just unnatural. Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted May 3, 2003 I read an interview with the Dynamite Kid in a UK wrestling magazine 'Power Slam' http://www30.brinkster.com/crossface/dynam...d/article2.html When you watch wrestling today, do you see evidence of steroid use? I see some evidence, yeah. One person in particular in the WWF, a guy in a great spot who shall remain nameless, is on steroids. You can see it in his arms, his chest - everywhere. You can work out your entire life and you'll never get a physique like that. I think you know who I mean.

I would have loved to see that. Worked for Foley in ECW However, Foley knew how to act and work the crowd. Hell, Steph looks like a Broadway star next to Jeff Hardy's acting abilities. Guest Memphis Report post Posted May 3, 2003 When Foley shunned the ECW hardcore style and refused to do ANYTHING but mat stuff it resulted in one of the better angles done by Mr.Heyman. Of course, only Foley could pull that off. M
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted May 3, 2003 Jeff Hardy is now reduced to selling really messed up drawings on EBay..with pictures of him naked holding said drawings. The saddest thing is that the last time I looked the bidding was up to like $400 or something.. The link is in the original Jeff Hardy fired thread..
