M-Dogg 20 to Ring of Honor?

Well, Josh Pro's and M-Dogg's BYW stuff was just them doing ECW style garbage brawls, weapons and all.

 

Their pro stuff has them wrestling (well, Josh Pro anyway) without weapons for the most part. Though they did face each other in a remarkably sub-par Tables and Ladders match at Ultraviolent Freedom Of Expression.

 

Josh Pro is more of a mat wrestler, while M-Dogg is a below average spot monkey.

Fair enough if thats what his matches in the BY were like. I cant comment, as I havent seen the BOBY tapes.

 

It just annoys me when people tar everyone with the same brush, when it comes to BYW.

 

Its not all like the stuff on the BOBY tapes.

Sandman, how is Josh Pro? Like, decent, bad, good...?

I'll take this one.

 

I think the best word to describe him is "decent." He can actually wrestle, with holds and suplexes and stuff along with the occassional highspot, a lot more than you can say for MDogg. (even though I enjoy Matt as a guilty pleasure personally.) His match with Nick Berk at Cage of Death 4 was a rock solid, logical submission match.

 

However, while his matwork is focused and executed well, his skill level is very basic and nowhere even close to the other guys with reputations as mat wrestlers- ie American Dragon, Chris Hero and the like.

 

Nothing bad, nothing spectacular.

 

On a side note, MDogg is a very nice guy in real life, while Josh is a total ass.

So, he has a lot of room for improvement? Well, he's still within his ifrst, what...2 years of being pro? The fact that he can do a well thought-out submission match when all he was doing as garbage brawls for a long time shows SOME skill.

 

And he's probably an ass because everybody gives M-Dogg the attention.

Both of them got to go to E3 for promotion for the Backdoor Wrestling game.

 

Them and Pondo and some others.
