The wwf needs competion to succeed

Saw a thread about conspiricies that got me thinking about the current situation.

The wwf is currently on cruise control with the driver asleep at the whee;. there's no argument that Vince is at his best when he has a competitor.

It's in Vince's best interest to have a competitor just to keep him on his toes. but more importantly it's important to the wrestlers to have an alternative to the wwf. Look at the situation jericho is currently in. The wwf can offer him peanuts for a salary and he has no choice but to take it.

The wrestlers need two federations so they have leverage in contract negotiations. Plus there's no room in the wwf for crusierweights, so the crusiers would benifit from another company that would put more empathesis on them.

so what do you guys think?

This whole split thing......my main problem with it is the same writing team.  I dont like that.

Kinda reminds me of 1 guy playing a 2 player game at home.  Sometimes, you kinda just give up on the 2nd game and concentrate on just one.

Problem is the wwf is creating it's own competition and both brands answer to Vincent K McMahon. If he lets a Paul Heyman, Johnny Ace, Terry Taylor, Jim Cornette, or someone of that nature have complete control of one of the shows, then you will notice a difference. Til that happens, you might as well call them wwf1 and wwf2.
