Guest converge241 Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 im sure most people know but if you dont check movietickets.com or other ticket sites to see if you have shows in your area i had to get tickets to a 10:00 show planning on seeign it again on friday night and then seeing Transformers The movie afterwards at a different theater you cant beat that with a stick
The Dames Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Oh..I'm going. That's right. TNA CAN WAIT. Dames

Try not to cry when Prime cries, 'kay?
Guest Mole Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 If they are playing it, I'll be there. I'm suprised that they didn't have any showings for X-Men though.
Guest SP-1 Posted May 6, 2003 Report Posted May 6, 2003 Work pretty much kills any ideas I get about seeing a movie during the week. Being able to get up in the morning takes importance over movies. But Friday? I'm SO there.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted May 7, 2003 Report Posted May 7, 2003 Dude, Prime DIES?? Spoiler please!! . Actually I'm trying to find a theater in my area showing a midnight showind of Matrix and not having a whole bunch of luck. If I can, I'm there.
Guest Human Fly Posted May 7, 2003 Report Posted May 7, 2003 I hate going to see movies by myself in the theater, but if I have to I will go by myself to catch a midnight showing of Matrix. BTW, I saw TF: The Movie on a big screen a few years ago and it is awesome. Also, it was Hot Rod's fault.
Guest El Satanico Posted May 7, 2003 Report Posted May 7, 2003 Matrix...no, but if Transformers the movie was playing here I'd go see that.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted May 7, 2003 Report Posted May 7, 2003 Yeah I know, Hot Rod was a jackass and Rodimus didn't deserve to hold Optimu's titanium jock, much less the Matrix (TF are prophetic!). I still remember seeing it on the big screen when I was a kid. I couldn't believe the carnage on the flight (i.e. Ironhide and the rest getting the crap blown outta them) and that they actually said "Shit!". I was stunned. I'm enjoying seeing my Season 2 DVD's. The animation is spotty, but all in all I love it. Despite a couple HORRIBLE episodes (Kremzeek! and The Gambler, anyone?) Cosmic Rust, Alpha Trion, and Orion Pax (young Optimus RULES!) make it a worthwhile buy. Plus the creation of the Combaticons, Stunticons, and Aerialbots.
Guest JHawk Posted May 7, 2003 Report Posted May 7, 2003 Maybe I'm in the minority, but I didn't like the first one enough to warrant wanting to see two sequels, let alone seeing the first sequel at 12:01am
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 Maybe I'm in the minority, but I didn't like the first one enough to warrant wanting to see two sequels, let alone seeing the first sequel at 12:01am You aren't alone. I didnt really like the first one. And apparently, most of the reviews are bashing Reloaded pretty heavily, even the super duper special effects. Pretty much everyone is calling it a mindless zombie-fest of a movie with no real obvious point other than to lead into another movie in 6 months and its getting a lot of backlash for that.
Guest razazteca Posted May 9, 2003 Report Posted May 9, 2003 Oh that is so different than say Star Wars. I might see it tomorrow.

Reviews already? From where?
Guest converge241 Posted May 12, 2003 Report Posted May 12, 2003 "Try not to cry when Prime cries, 'kay? " lol i had to try not to when i 1st saw it in the theater when i was 10
Guest Nanks Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Damn right I'll be there at 12:01. IT SHALL OWN!!!! You just know they're gonna have some kind of cliffhanger finish to make the next 6 months hell waiting for Revolutions though, bastards. I actually didn't see The Matrix at the cinemas, but I've seen it close to 1 trillion times on DVD since. Matrix DVD + bucket of KFC with various side orders = Solid afternoon
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 I'll be there at 10:00 tomorrow. Doesn't matter to me that I have to be at work at 6:30am on Thursday. I must see this movie. That is all.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 I know how everyone hates AICN, but I just had to link to HK's review, in which, out of all the movies that he could of picked, he compares Matrix Reloaded to.. Link, with spoilers although theres a spot to stop before spoilers are found.. Click the link and find out... After reading this, Im pretty much sure that M:RL will not be breaking any records..I haven't seen one good review of it. I might go see it, but I am definitely going to wait until the crowds wear down a bit, which probably wont be that long.
