Who is Fuck Goldberg facing at J-Day?

Recommended Posts

Guest Anglesault

Okay, they have been delaying this match for next to ever now. The good point is that it makes Christian look a little better. But I got a scary thought last night. They still don't have a match for Fuck Goldberg. They've stretched this Christian feud out further. The match is going to be a cage match next week, and knowing the WWF,Christian will pull the fake injury, extending this ANOTHER week. Is this going to go all the way to the PPV? Everyone assumed Fuck Goldberg/Jericho, but Chris entered the IC match...Christian didn't. I like Christian, but are they going to have the three draws to a PPV be Lesnar/Show, Poochie/HHH and Fuck Goldberg/Christian?

On the bright side, they're pushing Christian.

On the other hand, fuck Goldberg.

Either way, I'm avoiding this show altogether. They should pay me to watch HHH/Nash, not the other way around.

I hope he does face Christian as it is going to elevate Christian into a high spot on the roster, which I believe he really deserves.

I've always wanted a big push for Christian, but...you know, in stages. Not hey, jobber...MAIN EVENTER! I sort of want him to face Christian in a way, if only to try and bring Xian up a little bit. But I don't think this is the way to do it, and it's a horrid selling point for a PPV.

Christian should be winning the IC Title Battle Royal, since he's the New People's Champion.

I've been a huge Christian fan since the days of the Brood and it sucked that he was a hopeless jobber and his hometown match at Wrestlemania X-8 was a job to DDP. Now that he's gotten himself a little catchphrase with his people's champion peeps stuff its great to see him getting pushed. Of course he's basically going to get raped by Goldberg if they do face each other at Judgement Day but at least its a match.

One can dream.

Why does Christian deserve a push?

He's a boring generic wrestler whose offence relies on choking and other scintillating rest holds. Christian is an awful worker and the breakup of E-n-C has completely exposed him

Christian has been bugging Goldy since he debuted. I'd say it is a safe bet they'll be in one of th hihg mid-card matches. I can't see anything being hotshotted.

Odd thing is, IIRC, Bill only was working with specific people and low and behold he is facing Christian next PPV.

At least Steiner got a re-match!

It's the WWE's answer to elevation. Last week you jobbed to Hurricane, its now time to put you against GOD. They did the same thing with Big Show, the FBI, and seem to be taking Sean O'Haire in that direction. It always fails miserably.

I think he will probably be squashing Jericho at the PPV. I am hoping for 'Bed vs. 3MW. It could be the WWE's version of 'Berg/Kronik.

Christian is an awful worker

Well, that right there should qualify him for the Raw main event.

Finally, Bob comes to grips with his Regal fandom.

:P

You have to give them this much, it's definatly an interesting way to push people. I guess they feel like they owe guys after months of jobbing them out, so they give them title shots and PPV wins. Of course the crowd goes  but you know how Vince feels abot the crowd.

As for Goldberg, well, fuck Goldberg. No seriously, I dont give a shit what happens to him one way or the other. Well actually thats not true if he beats someone I like in 3 minutes I'll bitch.

Christian's just going to get squashed and put back in tag ranks...sure he's on tv for now. But how long will that last?

... Dude, you like Regal.

And besides, considering who else the WWE has pushed to the main event, Christian is a godsend. AND he can work a mic and is a great heel. I'm perfectly fine with Christian getting a push, I just wish he would drop the rest-hold shit and do some real moves.

Fuck Goldberg/Christian I assumed (this week on Raw) would end with Jericho helping Christian beating down Fuck Goldberg to set up a match at the PPV.

However, with the Big Gimpy/Y2Jackass match set up for next week, I wonder if the Fuck Goldberg/Christian cage match or the Big Gimpy/Y2Jackass match will actually main event.

Actually, I'm wondering which match they'll cop out on since they never deliver promised matches on Raw anymore.

ASSUMING they deliver, I'd think Fuck Goldberg would get the beatdown in the cage and have the cage door slammed in his face by Y2Jackass. Then in the last match, Big Gimpy Lazybombs Y2Jackass, we get a Cripple H run in and a ref bump, SPHERE by Fuck Goldberg on Cripple H and Y2Jackass, and Nash goes over and we begin the tension between HHH and Fuck Goldberg as JR is all like "WE'RE OUT OF TIME SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!"

Er...when the hell is the Pay Per View again? Eh, who cares. You can't end a Nitro without a bunch of run ins, you know--see last night for instance.

The Goldberg/Christian match will probably be the 10:00 main event and it'll be just like those old time Goldberg squashes that used to main event Thunder. Except this time it's in a cage.

If creative had a sack, they would put Christian over at the pay per view. Before I get shat upon, hear me out. Christian gets a fluke win with the help of the jobber brigade over Goldie at JD and Goldie becomes a reclusive after the shame of losing to Christian, wondering if he has what it takes anymore. Meanwhile, Christian is all over TV gloating about beating the man that the Rock couldn't beat, proclaiming himself truly the new people's champion. In the weeks that follow, Christian starts a streak over people like the Hurricane, Rob Van Dam, etc. and begins to count his wins in a mocking fashion, calling out Goldberg after every match. For a few weeks, his call outs go unanswered, But finally, after increasingly being pushed to the brink, Goldberg does a suprise run in during a 3MW match and lights them up even worse than he did last week and refuses to leave the ring untill Christian comes out, but he is met but Co-GM Eric Bischoff, who comes out with Christian and about 100 security guards. Goldberg tears through a few of the guards, but the numbers prove to be too strong, and he gets carted up the ramp. Right before he is sent through the curtain, the glass shatters and Co-GM Austin comes out. He makes a gimmick match for the pay per view, Christian protests, but there is nothing he can do about it. The next week, Christian's nerves seem to be getting the best of him during a promo, but out of nowhere, the Rock pops up on the video screen in a pretaped segment and puts over Christian, telling him that lightning will strike twice at Bad Blood. Christian gains his confidence back from his mentor and wins his main event match against Booker T. After a big over the top celebration, the lights go black and Goldberg's music plays. He walks to the ring like a man possessed and Christian tries to find an exit. As soon as Goldberg enters the ring and bellows his trademark growl, the jobber brigade that helped Christian beat Goldberg the first time piles into the ring behind him. Cornered by multiple foes, Goldberg now has nowhere to run. He goes down to the power of the jobber brigade again and Christian calls a ref in for a one-footed pin on "Da Man". The ref gets to 2 and the glass shatters. Austin evens up the odds, sending the men that Christian has claimed a streak over to fight the jobber brigade off. Two men are left in the ring, the battered Goldberg, and Christian. Christan freaks out when he realizes that his troops have been fought off, not seeing Goldberg crouched in the spear position on the opposite end of the ring. Goldberg spears him down, but Christian has pulled the old Bret Hart trick of wearing a metal plate under his ring gear then finishes the job with a solo con-chair-to. Cut to Bad Blood, Goldberg is fuming and Christian is worried because his jobber brigade is booked in a match with Booker T, RVD, and The Hurricane. Booker/Cane/RVD destroy the jobber brigade, leaving Christian to fend for himself in the co-main event. Christian goes down in a blaze of glory to Goldberg.

It would be more interesting than "Christian goes into PPV, Christian gets squashed by Goldberg". Raw needs more top heels anyway. Besides, I don't think the whole streak thing is going to work for Goldberg anyway. Man, I shouldn't try posting ideas when i'm baked. They tend to get a bit out there.

There will be a slight variation on that exact idea where HHH beats Goldberg then comes out the next day on RAW and tells everyone that Goldberg doesn't have what it takes anymore...then when Goldberg comes for his revenge...he loses to HHH again.

It's almost the same thing...and Goldberg can team with Booker and join the "I was buried by HHH" tag team division.

Hell...Book and Goldberg have already formed a friendship.

TheHulkster: That would be cool--but see, Fuck Goldberg has creative control, Christian is little, and thus it will never happen.

Doesn't look like Goldberg is going to have a match at the PPV at this rate. I'm sure WWE will come up with something creative for him. Like standing around and laughing at Austin's jokes.

btw, I didn't see Steven Richards anywhere this week and I don't remember seeing him on any of the house shows over the weekend.

I may be wrong, but I wonder if he got hurt from that Goldberg spear last week?

Also, where the Hell has Goldust been?

There is one more Raw before the PPV and as usual they have down a horrible job of establishing feuds top to bottom of the card.

As to the cage match, I'm sure there will be a swerve and it will get pushed back to the PPV where Fuck Goldberg will squash the People's Champ in 5 minutes.
