Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted May 7, 2003 Benoit jobbed to Big Show. No further insults are required. M Yes. Fuck WWE. I'll be taping the show and going to see X-2 probably instead of watching this when it comes on. Will somebody just fucking shoot Torrie already?

Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 7, 2003 I think someone should point out that Benoit is one of - if not THE - hardest worker in the WWE. He has yet to hold a world championship, he hasn't really gotten a giant push, yet he still puts on some of the companies best matches. Then we have Big Show - a man who has gotten shot, after shot, after shot, after shot, and continues to fail. A man who has not improved a single bit since entering the WWE (infact he has probably gotten worse) and who's matches are incredibly bad.

Guest Sakura Report post Posted May 7, 2003 Big Show is... 1. Not over. 2. Not a draw. 3. A black hole of workrate. 4. Still fat after being told to lose weight for years. 5. Headling a pay per view. I just want to cry.
Guest Nanks Report post Posted May 7, 2003 Eddie v Mattitude sounds good Kendrick v Noble could be really good, but it'll be a 1-2 minute match Rhyno v Cena could be OK if Cena's on, and I like that they seem to be pushing Kendrick. People can't help but notice if he has a good feud with the most recent title challenger. The key in there is the "good feud" part. AND WHY IS IT THAT FORKLIFTS ARE ALWAYS THE MOST EFFECTIVE WAY OF LOCKING DOORS?!?! Everyone's said all that's need on Benoit jobbing to Big Show, I just pray A-Train was interfering WHY OH WHY would you put Rikishi in a match with Team Angle and Tajiri????? Where's the fucking sense in that?????
Guest Memphis Report post Posted May 7, 2003 1. Not over. 2. Not a draw. 3. A black hole of workrate. 4. Headling a pay per view. Sadly, you can apply that to 90% of the 'wrestlers' within the main event scene.

Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted May 7, 2003 Sadly, you can apply that to 90% of the 'wrestlers' within the main event scene. Hm? Let's see who that is again--what main eventers are there? Raw: HHH Nash HBK Goldberg? SD: Brock Big Show (this month) HBK and Brock at least can work a match and Brock is somewhat over (and a bit of a draw), so the % is only 66 2/3%. Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 7, 2003 If you include HBK then you have to include Hogan.
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted May 7, 2003 87% of statistics are made up on the spot, you know. Approximately 60% of SD looks like it will be a steaming pile of horse crap. Or Wrestlecrap, if you weeeeeel.
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted May 7, 2003 If you include HBK then you have to include Hogan. Hogan wasn't one since a year ago. He's been a high-midcard nostalgia act since coming back. HBK likely will wrestle Nash if Nash wins the title, so I counted HBK.

Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 7, 2003 HBK is on Jericho-level and more than likely is not going back to the main event scene... ...I wouldn't be surprised to see him and Nash for a tag team after HHH is through with him and bury everyone there (by that I mean "dig them up, and then bury them again".) Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted May 7, 2003 Gee, I cannot *wait* until Crapment Day is over and done with. I wonder if WWE feels obligated to really, really suck in April and May.
Guest NoCalMike Report post Posted May 7, 2003 In a stretcher match, you must subdue yer opponent enough so they are "out cold" long enough to be stretchered out of the building(into the locker room). Rvd vs. Sabu in '96 at "The Doctor Is In"(commercial tape release) and on the Hardcore History match had a stretcher match, although their match at "A Matter of Respect" was better, IMO. Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 7, 2003 Mullato, I've bugged Vince McMahons Titan Towers office and you are indeed right. They make April and May suck so much that the half-assed effort they give in June, July, and August actually make their shows seem better than they really are. Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted May 7, 2003 Hmmmm... I never thought of it that way. Good point. I honestly can say that I'd be pleased if a Lesnar/Benoit program started in the summer, as it is my only (feasible) 'dream match', but I probably just jinxed it. Guest Space_Cowboy Report post Posted May 7, 2003 Big Sloth and Donkey Kong rolling around trying to put the other one on a stretcher for 10 minutes, i think the WWE just found a way to make the match even worse than it was going to be.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 7, 2003 I can't see how that can realistically happen now. Benoit has lost to both Cena and Big Show now - and Brock has (and will) defeated them soundly. How can Benoit believibly enter the title picture now as he is already out by default. Odds are Brock vs. Kurt Angle or Brock vs. Taker for the Summer. Benoit just gets to put Angle and Taker over before Brock beats em. He's the Jericho of Smackdown... Guest JDMattitudeV1 Report post Posted May 7, 2003 How much does this show need Kurt back? I shudder to think how bad this company could actually get if he is eventually forced to retire with his neck injury. Big Show/Lesner stretcher match - This just has bad idea written all over it, so nothing short of what to expect from the WWE. Big Show beats Benoit - Well that’s just fan-fucking-tastic. Why is it that every moth Benoit and Jericho have to put over the next PPV title challengers. Fuck you WWE.

Cena himself had no real momentum going in to Backlash, and before they made Kurt Angle champion last year, he was struggling to beat Rey Mysterio who all the hosses beat no problem. Not to mention Show jobbed to Hardy before becoming champion.
