Guest DerangedHermit Report post Posted May 8, 2003 (edited) There are some decent cartoons on now on Saturday mornings: TMNT (not as good as the old one, but pretty good) Ultimate Muscle (their parody of Kevin Nash - Kevin Mask - has better workrate) Mucha Lucha (me marks for the FLEA~!) And I even mark out for Kirby... Edited May 8, 2003 by DerangedHermit

Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 8, 2003 Fox and WB/UPN are the only networks with cartoons on Saturday Morning. Fox still has some decent cartoons.
Guest El Satanico Report post Posted May 8, 2003 The Big Cartoon Database I'm sure many of you will spend hours there. Why the hell are they listed by production company instead of by series title? If you follow the links you will get to the list of series titles. Going by Production company is just their way of organizing the list. So try using the site before complaining about said site. LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2003 He did use the site.......and he didn't like the way they had it organized. What's wrong with that?
Guest Big McLargeHuge Report post Posted May 8, 2003 Exactly. I didn't just look at the main page and say 'fuck it'. I gave it a chance, it's just simply easier to sort by title.

Bigfoot and the Muscle Machines. I believe that it was paired with Jem for a while in a half-hour block...
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted May 9, 2003 Wasn't there a cartoon based on the BIGFOOT monster truck? Bigfoot and the Muscle Machines. I believe that it was paired with Jem for a while in a half-hour block... Yeah, I remember them. They were both serialized shows and were on (what would become) my Fox affiliate on Sunday mornings. I want to say that the Inhumanoids and Robotix were in the block too. Edit: Research proves me right, it was called Super Sunday.

Shoot, I knew there was a third leg to that block, but I couldn't place it. You hit it on the nose with Robotix. Was Inhumanoids the one with the enemies from down below? I wasn't really into that one. Question: What toons were in Saturday Supercade? I remember that there was Donkey Kong Jr (I think Mario played heel in this one), Frogger and Q*Bert, but there were a couple of others too. Pitfall?
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted May 9, 2003 Saturday Supercade were: Donkey Kong Donkey Kong, Jr. Q*Bert Space Ace Frogger Kangaroo Pit Fall Space Ace and Kangaroo replaced Pit Fall and Frogger in the second season. The Inhumanoids were these Eco-scientists in battle suits who fought strange creatures from deep within the Earth's core. My old roommate found a tape of it and we watched it and were amazed about how scary this show could be to young kids.

Guest RepoMan Report post Posted May 11, 2003 (edited) GI Joe was my favorite. Although it's not really accurate. Besides the fact no one gets killed. Women don't serve in special forces, even in today's army. So in away it's kinda p.c. I guess they wanted little girls too watch has well. Hey, GI Joe was a completly seperate branch so they could make any rules they damn will wanted to. Edited May 11, 2003 by RepoMan

Guest Cancer Marney Report post Posted May 13, 2003 Thundercats was great, and so were Silverhawks, He-Man, The Real Ghostbusters, GI Joe, and Scooby Doo. Inspector Gadget was lame, though. Anyway, why the FUCK hasn't anyone mentioned the Care Bears, Jem, or My Little Pony?! You fuckers. My Little Pony rules your fucking world.
Guest areacode212 Report post Posted May 13, 2003 I never watched the Care Bears or My Little Pony, but T®ITEC sent me all the episodes of Jem on CD last week and we've been e-mailing each other back & forth discussing the show. It actually holds up really well, and in terms of how I regard it, it's gone from a half-remembered guilty pleasure to a pretty damn good cartoon with interesting characters & well-written stories. Funny how the Paul Dini-written episode completely sucked, though.
