Guest webmasterofwrestlegame Report post Posted May 10, 2003 WWE don't think it is all about the wrestling, and they see it as a secondary attraction to the 'male soap opera'. Given their perspective, they place an onus on storylines and not to much the wrestling (hence the bland training apprantely given). Problem is, storylines suck so people are only really watching for good wrestling, of which much has not come from WWE-bred wrestlers right now.
thuganomics 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2003 I think OVW isn't the problem, as having watched some of their tapes, I know their workers can perform. I think much of the problems come from the WWE Style. Orton and Lesnar were f'n cool in OVW, with some really innovative offenses. Now they pretty much use the same four moves in every match. It pisses me off. And Steve Bradley was and is an awesome competitor. He gets compared to RVD way too much, though, and with RVD in the WWE, they let one of their most promising young talents go. And one up on RVD: he actually had mic skills.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted May 11, 2003 Also, I know alot of people don't like him, but I feel Nova has something to offer right now. If nothing else he could wake up the crowd. Why not team him up with Kanyon and put him in the SD! Tag division. Why not indeed. After all, he invented the division, so he should flourish in it.
