Took 2 years for anyone to realize it...They assumed I was tremendously shy. Not Sure if that is true... However...I have eyesight that is amazing...I can see in dark as well... A girl in her class had really bad OCD, one of the things she did because of it was that she always had to walk around touching things, and like tapping them with her index finger, she did it all the time and kids made fun of her for it. Also, she had a slight stuttering problem which she also got made fun of for. Her parents told the teacher about it and they had some meeting about how they could fix the problem. The teacher decided to do some class assignment where she put the students into groups of two and they had a week to do the project. (I have no idea what the project was about). Basically the teacher told them to go over to each other's houses and spend a few hours together while working on it. She paired up the girl with the problems with the popular girl who was picking on her. Now if you put two kids together in a room for a few hours, they're bound to become friendly at some point. The "popular" girl apparently liked all the toys she had and stuff, and realized that she was really nice when they were just by themselves. So after the project was over the "popular" girl started hanging out with this girl, and a lot of the other kids started doing it too because the popular girl was, and they all became friends with her or something. It was a really well planned out idea that actually worked. It's not going to always work, but it's an idea at least worth mentioning to your sister, IMO. J.SR.J. hit 'em in the JUNK hit 'em in the SHORT RIBS Hit 'em in the JAW it works. that and learning to develop a sense of humor about your challenges are very important. I myself am Autistic.
