Methinks they're just going to rerun all the matches that ran on "From The Vault" when it was on Excess.

Its doubtful they will show all 20mins + of the Bulldog / Bret match.

Also, Bulldog and Bret have both stated in the past that they were responsible for the match in carrying each other.

Bret argues that Bulldgo froze and had to be carried, Bulldog said this was rubbish and it was he that put a lot of the match together.

Watch it tonight and you decide.

I don't know about that.

There was at least one WCW match on the "From the Vault" segment on Excess.

I doubt they'll show it nowadays though.

Then again, I could be wrong. We could see the Hogan/Goldberg match on Confidential sometime in the near future.

Yeah, expect a clipfest ahoy.

Yet the Warrior/Hogan match had the intros shown in their entirety even though they clipped the match itself--geez.

Mr. America repeats are the only true draw of Velocity.

I hope they show the Benoit/Sid match again since I missed it the first time.

Benoit winning a World Title occurs about as often as HHH making Chris Jericho look good.

I've seen that match many many times and Bulldog is right. While Bret did play the heel and thus was responsible in leading the match (like every heel is supposed to do) to act like he did this big Godlike miracle and carried Davey to a ***** match is absurd. That's just another case of Bret's overinflated ego.

I think it's cool they're going to show the match around the anniversary of Davey's passing. I plan on watching that match only once a year- on May 18th.

Maybe Bret was offended and disappointed that Davey reportedly got a little sloppy the night before the show. Bret probably felt that a good night of sleep the eve of the most important match of one's career should take precedense over getting hammered.

Bret said Bulldog was blown-up 3 minutes in.

That match is also the ME for the highest paid attendance for a wrestling event to all those who didn't listen to WOL last week.

Confidential could be so much better than they are using it right now.

nigga, please. from the bret hart shoot, he concurs that both of them helped put the match together, in terms of planning spots, but davey was obviously blown up that night and blanked out on almost everything. bret goes back to the chinlock multiple times (the first time i watched it i was all, "augh!!! stop the damn chinlocks!!!"), so SOMEBODY was pretty blown up; i doubt it was bret.

and in the chinlocks, you can SEE him CALLING the spots. i have seriously never seen such a one-sided match, in terms of guiding the spots & the pace. up till the end, bret visibly does at least 80% of the work. davey also fucks up a back body drop and a top rope splash (landing on his leg both times), and at various times in the match you can tell he's sucking wind hard. when he gets out of the sleeper the first or second time (can't remember which), it looks like he can barely get up.

i personally wouldn't call it a 5* match, but it was definitely a carry job.

It's ***** on the Emotional level...

I am tired of hearing "Bret Carried Bulldog" when this match comes up...

Just sit back and enjoy it for what it was...

...An incredible carry-job by Bret ;)

B-) You Bastard

Just curious RRR what's your favorite North American match?

Lately I've been digging on Flair vs Windham from Worldwide 1987 (Of course 1992 Royal Rumble is that one match I can watch over and over and always love)

Off the top of my head - Rey vs. Eddie Halloween Havoc 97... Well, not really, that's just the first match that popped into my head and I figured "hey, go with it". That match just blew me away.

I don't have an absolute favourite, I'll leave that open for future consideration.

It's tied with Piper vs. Hart Wm13 for the best 'short' match I've seen. Both were around 13 minutes. They did shit in that match you only thought of when talking with your friends saying "hey, wouldn't it be cool if..."
