Guest Kingpk Report post Posted May 11, 2003 Man, this is TOTALLY in bad taste. I'm not surprised they did it, though.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 11, 2003 Oh Ok Luger isn't a bad guy.....nahhh I knew he was a prick when I first met him in
Guest Downhome Report post Posted May 11, 2003 Just watch them sign Lex Luger and have him under a gimmick something like Crush had when HE re-debuted. Ugh.

Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted May 11, 2003 K, Luger is never coming back to the WWE. Period.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2003 I had always figured they made it up for The Big Bossman. I've never been to Georgia.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted May 11, 2003 Oh my God, they are SO going to sign Luger now, I just feel it. Bring him in as a huge heel, just watch.
Guest AndrewTS Report post Posted May 11, 2003 Just watch them sign Lex Luger and have him under a gimmick something like Crush had when HE re-debuted. Ugh. HA! I remember...they had Clarence Mason manage him. He got "Jailbird" chants. Nowadays, the chants wouldn't be as kid-friendly.
Guest Cerebus Report post Posted May 11, 2003 That 911 tape was surreal...

Not in the slightest bit. There's nothing so low that I think Vince won't do if he thinks it will make him money.
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted May 11, 2003 What a depressing ending to an otherwise good Confidential. Damn...
Guest Downhome Report post Posted May 11, 2003 I don't know about you guys, but I'd have MUCH rather them just dedicated the show to her tonight, while showing her "greatest moments" and just having other wrestlers, and possibly even fans, speaking about her. This was just uncalled for.

Guest treble charged Report post Posted May 11, 2003 Personally, I'm glad that they didn't just gloss over how she died and do a show talking about how great she was.
Guest JRE Report post Posted May 11, 2003 How DARE the WWE show the truth Was it in poor taste when anybody else reported it? I don't think so. Why place a double standard on the WWE?
Guest HartFan86 Report post Posted May 11, 2003 So they should just sugarcoat the fact that she played a hand in her own death? Did you get upset when they did the same thing about DBS? I think it was more uncalled as to making it look like it's Luger's fault as opposed to Elizabeth's.
Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 11, 2003 I didn't like the way they did that. I understand that they have to give facts, even the bad ones. But for Vince to go on about how the WWF took such care of her and that WCW did not (which he has no clue on) was in bad taste. And I did not have to hear the 911 call. Started good, but I didn't like the way they finished it
Guest papacita Report post Posted May 11, 2003 That was horrible. It's bad enough that Liz died under such circumstances without dragging hers, Lex's and Randy's names through the mud like that. As if those people aren't going through enough already. I'm not a big Liz fan, but that seriously pissed me off.
Guest Cerebus Report post Posted May 11, 2003 I guess its mixed...Vince's comments were rather stupid and him saying that WCW she was treated as a "commodity" whereas in WWF she was a "member of a family" is utter bullshit. The rest of it was not bad at all I think.
Guest Downhome Report post Posted May 11, 2003 It's great they they explain how she died, but the FACT, is that we don't even know the FACTS yet. They should have simply done a rememberance show tonight, and then once the facts in the case come out, they should then do a show on that, whatever the facts may be. They should have simply done a rememberance show tonight, and then once the facts in the case come out, they should then do a show on that, whatever the facts may be. That would require patience and integrity. Vince doesn't have either. Was there a point to the 911 call other than make Luger look bad? It didn't uncover any important information other than Luger's condition at the time.
