Guest EI Cubano Report post Posted March 24, 2002 Alright, Becker banned the appropriate people for good via IP last night and this morning Mike came through for me and hooked up my super admin account so now I have the power to stop problems when they start rather than relaying through someone else. Because you have a life, you can't be here on troll duty 24/7. That's why I think bps21 or someone else with a kazillion posts should be able to take care of the trolls. They obviously have no life (no offense, because I don't have a life either) so they're always on the board, and can squash the trolls whenever they pop up. I agree with Yodeller, I think a more permanent monitor on the board would help. Friday might, I believe, the entire WWF board was bombarded by trolls who were posting nonsensical opsts and disrupting WWF conversations. I disagree with letting a regular poster mod for the board. That's similar to letting the inmates run the asylum and when that happens... well just ask WCW! HHH had the same IP as the imposter "Anglesalt" and Professor whatever had the same IP as someone who's name I cant even recall that registered in January and only had like 5 posts total on the new board, but if you are asking if it was any long time poster who changed his identity the answer is no.
