Guest Mole Report post Posted May 11, 2003 Well, how did you find this board? My favorite writer on the net is Scott Keith, ever since his Wrestleline.com days. When he started Rantsvania.com or whatever it was called, I followed him there. Then, he went to TheSmarks.com, and that is how I found this board. What about you fellas? Guest bravesfan Report post Posted May 11, 2003 Starting from sometime in 1998, I've followed Rantsylvania and ScoopThis! religously. (BTW, please make an effort to visit ST! and view some of the archived material - most of the hilarious audio bits STILL work, and the nWo B-Team is still there to worship and behold.) I wasn't too interested in posting on internet message boards, but I did post at the AOL Grandstand message boards (along with MikeinSC and a few other AOL users). This lasted from early 1997 until Wrestlemania 2000 rolled along. After that, I was without home access after my computer broke down. A "family friend" vowed to fix it, but he has ignored my attempts to get in touch with him since. So that meant getting my IWC fix by logging on from my friend's home, or my high-school computer lab. That only lasted for a few months, tops. Right around February of last year, I unknowingly registered here, after getting into reading SK's rants on the mainpage. It had been a long time since I had been exposed to the "Internet Smark" style, so I was hooked once again. I posted about once a week from different computers, until I purchased a new one last August.
Guest Memphis Report post Posted May 11, 2003 Triple H says "I'm an American wrestler, therefore my opinion doesn't count" Good one, HHH. M
Guest WhenDanSaysJump Report post Posted May 11, 2003 I've been an infrequent poster since early 2000, first on the Rantsylvania Delphi forum, then the old Smarks ezboard, and now here.
Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2003 I had seen this board advertised in someone's sig last year at another board, since I was bored with nothing else to do, I thought I'd check it out and see what it was like and that sort of stuff. After checking it out, I liked what I saw, signed up, and then the rest as they say is history.

Guest MaxPower27 Report post Posted May 11, 2003 I clicked a link on another forum to get Keith's message board, where I was IMTHEWORLDCHAMP. I was at the old Smartmarks as well, as maxfnpoweretw, but I only posted about 6 times. I registered here close to when it first opened, but I didn't start posting for a while. Guest Marshall Report post Posted May 11, 2003 It was all because of the Gobbledy Gooker! Just before Wrestlmania 2001, Gobbledy Gooker was on WWF TV and I really wanted to find out more. I searched and found wrestlecrap and I became hooked on that site. Wrestlecrap would often plug smarks.com. I started reading Scott Kieth, I posted on the forum a few times and that forum became this forum and TADA. That was a boring story.

Guest JHawk Report post Posted May 11, 2003 It was sometime just before thesmarks.com closed down, but I honestly can't remember why I came here exactly.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 11, 2003 I'be been posting at every incarnation of this fourm since Mid 1998... I've been banned about 12 times... SK hated my guts anyways...
Guest hardyz1 Report post Posted May 11, 2003 I first found Rantsylvania because they had (this is the truth) Rollerjam recaps. I had always heard about Scott Keith but never read his stuff, but I liked what I saw, so I stayed around. I never posted on the forum until mid-late 2001 at the EZ Board. Guest The Czech Republic Report post Posted May 11, 2003 The usual. Scott Keith, Rantsylvania, didn't start posting until October '01 at the EZBoard then it evolved to this and here I be. I was originally "I AM THE ALLIANCE" until Botter banned me, then "Croooooow!" on the new board until I forgot my password. Then I left, came back in May as...The Czech Republic. And now it's a part of who I am.

Guest DrTom Report post Posted May 11, 2003 I joined back in the Rantsylvania days (right after their jump from Delphi to EZBoard, IIRC). When RS became thesmarks.com, I stayed on board, and signed up for this forum when the switch was made to Ikonboard. The rest are just individual moments in my glorious history here. Guest papacita Report post Posted May 11, 2003 When Wrestleline suddenly closed down in 2001, I came over to thesmarks to see what was going on. I signed up when they made the switch from EZ Board (I've always hated EZ Boards for some reason).

Guest Vern Gagne Report post Posted May 11, 2003 From one of Scott Keith's articles. I was posting at a different forum, and it didn't interest me. So I decided to try the old Rantsylvania forum. That was around February of 2001, I believe.
Guest Fook_Hing_Ho Report post Posted May 11, 2003 More or less the same way as Marshall. Wrestlecrap would always mention SK, so I decided to check out thesmarks.com and joined the board there in its dying days.
LaParkaYourCar 0 Report post Posted May 11, 2003 I used to post at the Wrestleline forums, but those were filled with the biggest assholes known to man so when I saw a link for The Smarks I went there. I liked it there much more than Wrestleline. I think I joined The Smarks forum in about July 2001.

Guest treble charged Report post Posted May 12, 2003 Found out about Rantsylvania through Sean Shannon and Scott Keith's articles at Wrestleline, and probably visted the site for over 2 years before I started posting on the old EZBoard in December 2001. Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted May 12, 2003 Joined the EZBoard when SK was running it. Probably followed a link from 1 of his articles. Came on more towards the end, and stuck around ever since.
