I was talking to my cousin just now, about 11 years old or so, and he had a lot to talk to me about. I've told you about him before, but I felt this was noteworthy. He seems to call me a lot, asking me questions about this and that. Now, obviously he's still totally a "mark" (I actually envy him most of the time, for many reasons). Anyway...

 

...he called me, and the very first thing he asked me was, "Brent, did Lex Luger really kill Elizabeth?", and I was somewhat shocked at this, I didn't know what to say really. I asked him what he was talking about, and he replied "Well, on Confidential last night they were talking all about Lex Luger and Miss Elizabeth, and it sounded just like to me that Luger killed her, and I was so shocked."

 

I told him no he didn't kill her, blah, blah, blah, and that her cause of death wasn't even known as of this time, etc... I just thought this was interesting. Yes, I know he is only 11 or so, but still, you get my point.

 

Just for the record, he despises the Sable/Torrie stuff, 3MW, TBS, and a few others that many of you dislike here. I did ask him which wrestler he thought was the least talented however, and he said Crash Holly, so eh, heh.

I really don't remember what in the world you are talking about. Just for the record, I NEVER said Goldberg would "save" WWE, I simply said that his being there could help and that NO one person would ever "save" WWE.

In the RAW thread the night goldberg debuted you got REALLY excited and claimed that you knew a little kid or something who marked out for Goldberg and ran down the stairs saying "I will start watching now!!!!!" and this made you declare Goldberg a HUGE success.

Ummm, I don't even have stairs. I said that my cousin really liked it and it made him re-like WWE again. He was always watching, but he just thought it was cool for something like that to be happening. I said that it was a good sign, and it was, he isn't the only one who thought that was cool.

 

I say again, I have NEVER said Goldberg would save WWE. Hell, I even said that the ratings would remain constant between 3-4 even with him here.

My cousin is also nearly a full-fledged mark, the only exception being that he knows wrestling isn't all the way real. He's 14. He does like Undertaker and Hulk Hogan, but he DID agree that the Hogan-Vince match at Wrestlemania sucked. so if he can recognize that, I wonder why anyone in WWE could say with a straight face that it was MOTN. Also during Wrestlemania, he said "Triple H never loses. Booker T won't win" before the Booker-HHH match.

He enjoyed the tag team matches, Cena/Brock, and thought Goldberg/Rocky was cool.
