Guest EternallyLazy Report post Posted May 12, 2003 Um, there's a difference between you not liking wrestling and a man forced to retire from wrestling when he's still young and apparently has a family to support. What's the difference? He doesn't need to wrestle to support his family. He can get a job somewhere else, a job he doesn't suck at. and no, I'm NOT still watching. Maybe he...oh I dunno, wants to wrestle. Maybe it was his dream. Maybe he enjoys it... But he's not good at it. Johnny the Mailboy works at your building. Johnny routinely loses the mail and sometimes opens and reads it. He's grossly incompetant. Should he be fired? Fired... possibly. It depends on what YOUR defintion of good wrestling is. Keep in mind, that Batista works the HOSS style of wrestling, and while YOU may not like it, others do. How else do you explain Undertaker being loved by the fans for so long? Now... while Johnny the mailboy may be grossly incompetent, does that mean you would be happy if he tore his bicep or suffered an injury that could greatly affect him the rest of his life? Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted May 12, 2003 AS is right. The rooster is "le coq". It would not have been as FUNNAH~! without the extra 'ue', I guess.

Now... while Johnny the mailboy may be grossly incompetent, does that mean you would be happy if he tore his bicep or suffered an injury that could greatly affect him the rest of his life? I wouldn't pull for one but I wouldn't be heartbroken. And it's a frigging tricep injury. "Affect him for the rest of his life" means he can't lift the couch on moving day. Guest Y2DAYDAY Report post Posted May 12, 2003 This is my question: If Sakura doesn't watch the show anymore, why are you posting on a wrestling message board? I thought message boards were for people who, you know, actually WATCH THE SHOWS and enjoy the product. If you are spending time on a message board posting about how the product you no longer watch sucks, like the other poster said, you really need to get a life.
Guest Anglesault Report post Posted May 12, 2003 Because she (I think Sakura's female) wants the product to get better so it will watchable for her again. So Sakura comes on to check on the product and discuss improvements/failures.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 12, 2003 Come here to discuss the latest Smackdown, or bitch about the latest Raw. -Doesn't say you have to watch it. ------------------- Bitter Smark: Man, the WWE sucks. WWE Rube: If you don't like it, then don't watch it. Bitter Smark: Ok. *the next week* Bitter Smark: Man, the WWE is so stupid. WWE Rube: If you don't watch it, don't talk about it. ------------------ So in other words, "If you don't like it, don't talk about it."
Guest treble charged Report post Posted May 13, 2003 I don't think most people mind that you talk about why you don't like the WWE, it's just that people are getting sick of it since you and Downhome have pretty much the same argument in every damn thread and have been for weeks now. They all pretty much follow this pattern: Downhome: blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, heh. Sincerely... ...Downhome... RavishingRickRudo: blah I don't agree with you. I am smarter than you and know more about wrestling than you do. You are merely an apologist. DH: Blah. You always attack me. I know FACTS and the FACT is that the FACTS. etc. RRR: You always attack me. Why do you think you are always the victim... Repeat ad naseum. It becomes grinding. People know you don't like the WWE, just like we know that DH likes certain parts of it, yet you talk about it in 3 or 4 threads a week, it seems.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 13, 2003 That's because there are instances in 3 or 4 threads a week where I can say "I don't like the WWE"... It's not like I start up threads just to say that.
Guest Beingz0wningj00 Report post Posted May 13, 2003 I dunno, I think what's his face is crying over a lost cause. It's not like the WWE has ever had their sole focus on wrestling. Cheering that a guy like Batistia being injured, is pretty fucking lame. It's not like the WWE is going to be like "OH MY GOD!!! SOME POSTER ON THE INTERNET THINKS IT'S COOL THAT BATISTIA WAS HURT... WHY WE BETTER STOP PUSHING THESE HOSSES." Seriously, injuries aren't cool, especially career ending ones. But if you insist, I'll let you play your childish game. It's not like I'll be thinknig of it 30 seconds from now anyway.
Guest Sakura Report post Posted May 13, 2003 I Base it on your clear cut Lack of humanity. Batisita isn't Saddam, not Hitler Ahahaha. What are you, Jim Ross? That was some awesome hype.

If you are spending time on a message board posting about how the product you no longer watch sucks, like the other poster said, you really need to get a life. I personally have never seen where you need to watch and enjoy the shows to post about them. I must have missed the memo. I need to "get a life"? Uh, ok. I have a life. A life that involves bitching about wrestling on the internet. Where's the problem? Who are you to tell me what to do with my life?
Guest Beingz0wningj00 Report post Posted May 13, 2003 I think the chick is just saying the exact opposite for sake of conversation. Probably likes the attention. Anyway you no longer have mine. *sigh*
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 13, 2003 Discussing the Quality of the product......isn't dancing on the grave of someones career... the product is WWE Not Batistia.. Batistia wrestling is about as Bland as most others in the WWE... so if you fire him you fire the rest.... Oh wait you elitests would. so there goes 80% of the company

Guest Army Eye Report post Posted May 13, 2003 My view is not narrow. The man just sucks. Why is Batista's love for his job more important than my love of wrestling? err. it's his livelihood. Is watching wrestling YOUR livelihood? Note: you living with your parents jobless and watching wrestling in the basement does not make it your livelihood. Wow, what a piss poor argument that was. . Guest Sakura Report post Posted May 13, 2003 I'll have you know I watch wrestling in my bed room. I don't even have a basement! He can get a new livelihood. One he doesn't suck at.
Guest Army Eye Report post Posted May 13, 2003 lol.. you guys have so little perspective on life it's quite hilarious. Shrug, it's little wonder this forum is basically a laughing stock Couple other things, I don't get how the judgement has been laid down that this guy sucks, will always sucks, and will never get any better. He was still green, handcuffed by the WWE style, given an incredibly bland character, with no chance to develop any kind of persona, and you've already decided he absolutely sucks based on a few months of mostly squash matches. I know plenty of awesome wrestlers who flat out sucked when they were rookies. I've heard from many people that he most definitely did not suck in OVW. He was one of their most over guys. He was thought of as a future star more so than Brock Lesnar when he was down there. And second, he was not "shoved down our throats". What, he had a five-minute every couple of weeks. WOW BIG DEAL. His biggest win was vs. who, Kane? It was one of the few times they actually gave a newcomer a push and I welcomed it. Brock Lesnar was shoved down people's throats. You can't compare Batista to what they did with Brock.

Guest Sakura Report post Posted May 13, 2003 It's a good thing we've got you to give us a perspective on life. Who knew TMS coudl make you a better human being? I have seen the light. Batista is not Hitler. I am sad Batista is in the hosspital.
Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 13, 2003 Brock did squash matches and I still could see something in him in the way he squashed. Batista, no, sorry, nothing there.
Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 13, 2003 He'd be better off not wrestling... for all of us. you said you stopped watching WWE wrestling a while ago... and yet you are counting yourself among the watchers of the WWE in your remarks on Batistia and how its good for YOUR health he is not on? Just for that Abdullah the Butcher should do a Tour in NJPW and SQUASH Liger....Literally..I mean he should Impale him through the Mask with a Fork and SIT on him for 10 minutes while his 70 year old ass loses control all over the helpless Liger!!!!!! bwahahahaahahahahhaaha

Guest RavishingRickRudo Report post Posted May 13, 2003 you said you stopped watching WWE wrestling a while ago... Yes, well no. Define "a while ago". And that doesn't mean that I won't watch again... Until I see actual change occur in the WWE for the better and they start to treat their fans with more respect, I'm done wit em. Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 13, 2003 so whats the yardstick....what MUST happen seriously before your crucial boycott of WWE product ceases and the WWE willl regain the RICH revenue of you two?
