I think it boils down to Hurricane being a talented worker that works hard and is over with the crowd...while Buff is the exact opposite

Buff would be in Steiner-level feuds while making a lot more $$$ than Helms, who gets punked out on Raw and wins occasionally when he headlines Heat.

 

I would rather keep the Hurricane because you need guys like that to fill up your roster and less egotistical roided wrestlers like the Stuff. Besides, he wouldn’t be able to wrestle in house shows when the WWE goes to Oregon.

If that music hit and Buff Bagwell strutted down ringside on Raw tonight, I'm sure his pop would rival that of Hurricane if not be larger. Give Buff an incentive-laid contract or promise him a belt, I'm certain he'd work hard. WCW was going down the tubes so of course he slacked off.

Why would you want someone on your roster that you have to pay more or give a belt too for them to work? That was a big part of WCW's problem. Hurricane is a better worker, is way more over, has a decent attitude and doesn't need to be garunteed shit to work hard.

The Hurricane's act is as old and lame as Buff the Stuff's. He is quite overated, and causes a collective groan amongst myself and friends when his music hits.

 

His gimmick was funny for about 3 weeks during the Invasion. He should be doing something else by now, wouldn't you think?

While I think Bagwell being employed again is a horrible idea, I do agree with the part about the Hurricane. I'm sorry but there is no way in hell he should be going over guys like Rock or Flair. I mean....the guy is a joke wrestler, and jokers should never be beating top guys.

 

And yes, his gimmick is worn out and really was lame after Molly dumped his ass. In fact I dare say Helms has been a joke for most of the time I've seen him. At first he was in 3 Count, now he's the Hurricane. He had a small run as simply Shane Helms against people like Chavo where he did some quality stuff, but that's about it.

Just watch the Hurricane work and tell me he's better than Buff Bagwell. Can you do it with a straight face? He loves what he does, and that's so rare anymore that it's a joy to watch him trade barbs with the Rock, or wrestle and subsequently de-pants Ric Flair. (Well... that's not to say I enjoyed seeing Flair's ass..)

The fact that he CAPITALIZED the word only makes it worse. I read the first sentence and knew it was going to be all downhill from there.
