Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 12, 2003 I think it boils down to Hurricane being a talented worker that works hard and is over with the crowd...while Buff is the exact opposite
Guest Polish_Rifle Report post Posted May 12, 2003 Buff would be in Steiner-level feuds while making a lot more $$$ than Helms, who gets punked out on Raw and wins occasionally when he headlines Heat. I would rather keep the Hurricane because you need guys like that to fill up your roster and less egotistical roided wrestlers like the Stuff. Besides, he wouldn’t be able to wrestle in house shows when the WWE goes to Oregon.
Guest evilhomer Report post Posted May 12, 2003 What did I miss. Suddenly Hurricane, one of the few over wrestlers on the Raw roster, is no longer good enough. Suddenly Buff is Raw's saviour I didn't think I drank that much last night. ** Stares at the pink bunny wallpapering my kitchen ** Yeah, everything else seems normal. Guest orville Report post Posted May 12, 2003 If that music hit and Buff Bagwell strutted down ringside on Raw tonight, I'm sure his pop would rival that of Hurricane if not be larger. Give Buff an incentive-laid contract or promise him a belt, I'm certain he'd work hard. WCW was going down the tubes so of course he slacked off.

So in order to get Buff to work hard, you need to give him an overvalued contract or promise him a title belt? Man, this is just too good.
Guest Cerebus Report post Posted May 12, 2003 Dandogg? Is that you?
Guest ViciousFish Report post Posted May 12, 2003 Why would you want someone on your roster that you have to pay more or give a belt too for them to work? That was a big part of WCW's problem. Hurricane is a better worker, is way more over, has a decent attitude and doesn't need to be garunteed shit to work hard.
Guest Bannable Offense Report post Posted May 12, 2003 It simply BEHOOVES me that Shane Helms is regularly on Raw. be·hoove (bi-'hüv) v. to be necessary, fit, or proper for Example: It behooves you to not use such a word if you cannot properly use it in a sentence. Guest Banky Report post Posted May 12, 2003 The Hurricane's act is as old and lame as Buff the Stuff's. He is quite overated, and causes a collective groan amongst myself and friends when his music hits. His gimmick was funny for about 3 weeks during the Invasion. He should be doing something else by now, wouldn't you think?
Guest cabbageboy Report post Posted May 12, 2003 While I think Bagwell being employed again is a horrible idea, I do agree with the part about the Hurricane. I'm sorry but there is no way in hell he should be going over guys like Rock or Flair. I mean....the guy is a joke wrestler, and jokers should never be beating top guys. And yes, his gimmick is worn out and really was lame after Molly dumped his ass. In fact I dare say Helms has been a joke for most of the time I've seen him. At first he was in 3 Count, now he's the Hurricane. He had a small run as simply Shane Helms against people like Chavo where he did some quality stuff, but that's about it. Guest Jobber of the Week Report post Posted May 12, 2003 Wait...Rodney Mack's still undefeated? I thought he lost to Hurricane by DQ thanks to the Rock... As Kurt Angle used to regularly say, "but that doesn't count."
Guest Spaceman Spiff Report post Posted May 13, 2003 I find it insanely entertaining that Helms punked out Bagwell, then started using the Buff Blockbuster in his regular move-set.

Guest Reservoir_Kitty Report post Posted May 13, 2003 I'm dumber from reading this nonsense. Just watch the Hurricane work and tell me he's better than Buff Bagwell. Can you do it with a straight face? He loves what he does, and that's so rare anymore that it's a joy to watch him trade barbs with the Rock, or wrestle and subsequently de-pants Ric Flair. (Well... that's not to say I enjoyed seeing Flair's ass..) Buff is the stuff... that kills my interest in wrestling.

The fact that he CAPITALIZED the word only makes it worse. I read the first sentence and knew it was going to be all downhill from there. IMO, this is clearly a joke thread. Or maybe a flame bait thread. I refuse to believe a human being could actually believe any of the stuff this guy wrote.
Guest Super Pissed Smark Report post Posted May 13, 2003 Actually, that just seems to confirm that this post was indeed written by Buff Bagwell himself. Congratulations, Mr. Bagwell, on finding someone to show you how to work a computer. Perhaps in the future you can find someone to teach you how to work a match, although Shane Helms is a little too, what's the word--oh, yes--employed, to help you out with that right now. Good luck and give my regards to Judy.

Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted May 13, 2003 I personally would not mind seeing Bagwell back. He would be better than the following: Scott Steiner Test 3 Minute Warning Nathan Jones Big Show Albert Rikishi Bill Demott
