Guest Ripper Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Jesus dude, how much of a sorry ass do you have to be to sit there and think of all that to insult someone. How dare she disagree with you...it's as if she is entitled to her own opinion. Calm down...get a life outside of posting...make some friends...do something to curve that rage because honestly you come off as being really pathetic after that 1000 word diatribe. You said this forum is full of intellegent people(true) but I think that crap you just spewed knocked you out of the running. Take it to the No Holds Barred Folder and save this folder for someone that wants to discuss CE.. . . . . . . And don't insult discussing Buffy...
The Dames Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Hey...I rarely go in here, but that shit was way out of line. Peace out, Walter. Dames
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 all nonsense aside... getting three-holed airtight at a family cook-out That's a good one.
Guest DrTom Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Ah well, Dames beat me to it. He must have started slacking off at work before I did.
Guest Cancer Marney Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 ... What the fuck just happened? <blank look> Who was that cretin?
Guest Ripper Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 The sad thing is that while he was writing that trash he was thinking "Everyone is gonna think I am so funny and cool!!!"
Guest EricMM Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 I just don't understand some people... Anyways. I heard they dispatched the texas rangers to go get the dems. I heard the rangers couldn't because they dems crossed the state lines. Anyone else thinking this is just too much like a movie? This is just dumb. If you don't agree w/ the Reps, beat them. I detest cheating.
Guest Agent of Oblivion Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 That insult was like...if FK Teale suddenly got a really bad drug problem, I mean, addiction to the point where he sold all his stuff, and just bought bag after bag of cheap smack, and lay curled up on a piss-stained mattress all day, shooting into an infected vein. After nearly ODing 6 times, he finally calls it quits and checks into rehab. They keep him there for about 6 months, and he emerges a gray shell of his former self. I mean, it's still the same guy and all, but he's no longer all there, and he looks about 10 years older than he should be...Anyway. He gets out of rehab and gets on the computer. The drugs and shock making him forget old political alliances, he focuses a bunch of naughty words at Marney, lashing out in confusion and shame, just utterly falling flat on his face when trying to resume his former life. Yeah, that's what that insult was like.

I detest cheating. What I don't understand is how they're trying to sell this as a MORAL victory. And one of them, when they fled, said that it was a "PROUD day in the history of our legislature" or something like that. Come the fuck on. This is schoolyard, elementary school bullshit. I don't like how you're playing ball, so I'm gonna take it and go home. .
Guest EricMM Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 I guess they think they're "Fighting the power"
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 My opinion has changed. This is an old practice called Gerimandering (or Jerrymandering), is it not? It's just a dishonest way to slice up the pie so that you get the most pieces. I think the idea originated in New York state, long ago. Check this out: Austin before: Austin after: This doesn't make any sense. Look at what they did to Harris county (Houston). They basically split the city into a bunch of fingers, and attached each finger to districts that go waaaay outside the city. FWIW, this is Constitutional, at least according to the federal judiciary. Doesn't mean it isn't shitty, though. I'm against shutting down the government except whenever necessary, and it seems like these people don't have many other options. I think this kind of changing via geography ought to be approved by voters, but that's obviously not going to happen. Check out this statement from DeLay today: "Fifty-six percent of Texas voters cast their vote for a Republican congressional candidate last fall, yet Texas sends more Democrats than Republicans to Congress. We're trying to change that," he said. SOMEONE DID NOT PAY ATTENTION TO THE 2000 ELECTION nor do they understand the idea of having your community represented in Congress. There is not enough to properly gauge this statement even if every industrialized nation in the world focused on manufacturing nothing but for the next 10 years.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted May 18, 2003 Report Posted May 18, 2003 Yet another reason I can't wait to get out of this ass-backwards state. I was born here, and I hate it. ò.ó

Buh bye.

That's all fine and good, but you're conveniently sidestepping the point of this thread: These Democrats are all big fucking pussy crybabies. I hope they contract diaper rash. As for Texas, I leave you with a favorite Jesse Ventura quote, WCW era Jesse: Jesse: "You know, Tony, there's only one thing wrong with Texas." Tony: "What's that?" Jesse: "Texicans!"

It only leads to blind acceptance of things.
