Guest Trivia247 Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 # The current plan for Kurt Angle's return is to bring him back as a heel. Angle is expected to return in about a month from his recent neck surgery. # As it stands now, Goldberg is not scheduled to have any involvement in Sunday's Judgment Day Pay-Per View. The current plan is for him to begin a feud with Chris Jericho the night after Judgment Day, which will lead to a match between the two at Bad Blood in June. # The 5/10 edition of WWE Confidential scored a 1.1 rating, with a 2.3 share. That number is way up from last week's 0.6, most likely due to the piece on Elizabeth's death. # The 5/10 edition of WWE Velocity scored a 0.7 rating, with a 1.2 share. # The 5/11 edition of WWE Sunday Night Heat scored a 1.3 rating, with a 2.5 share. Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 Of course he'll be a heel. Brock is a face. A monster who's a face...and a guy who wrestles with a broken neck and represents the USA for real (not Hogan-esque) is a heel. STUPID!
Guest wildpegasus Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 Let Angle be a heel. The WWE smackdown roster on the heel side is weak right now. If Angle were to come back as a face that would make the sides even more completely lopsided for the faces.
Guest Coffey Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 Of course he'll be a heel. Brock is a face. A monster who's a face...and a guy who wrestles with a broken neck and represents the USA for real (not Hogan-esque) is a heel. STUPID! Then again, remember when Molly & Trish were feuding? Molly was the heel because she was a virgin and Trish was the face because she was a whore who showed her ass to thousands weekly. What do you expect?
Guest wildpegasus Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 Yeah, the reasons for who are faces and who are heels are often wierd. I guess Molly just didn't show enough attitude. If someone were to live in an iosolated cave their whole life with only a TV that could show WWE programming I wonder what their perception of females would be. Now that's scary. I still think overall though Kurt's better as a heel although he makes a good face as well.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 Angle makes a great heel. It just bothers me to no end that he's been around since 1999 and they've never even tried to give him a BIG face run. An actual face run...and not "Everyone is pro America so we'll give him the title"

TELL ME this doesn't mean we get HHH-Nash II next month.

Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 Wait...Nash can't win for a month because HHH said that faces can't be transitional champions.
Guest JHawk Posted May 13, 2003 Report Posted May 13, 2003 Are you really a transitional champion if you lose it to the guy you beat for it? I bet that's Hunter's excuse for it.
Guest tank_abbott Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Of course he'll be a heel. Brock is a face. I'm willing to bet if the roles were reversed you'd be busting down the WWE for being to predictable with the roles the traditional heels/faces play.
Guest ManKinnd Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 As long as Angle is back on my TV again and having ****+ matches at PPVs, I really couldn't care less if he's a heel or face.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Unless they decide to turn Eddy heel and give him a big push, they basically need Angle as a heel. Neither Brock nor Benoit can control a feud (like a heel should) without some kind of help from a manager like Heyman or Shane McMahon (Vince would overshadow the wrestler).
Guest El Satanico Posted May 14, 2003 Report Posted May 14, 2003 Well hopefully they wait until his second show back before showing that he's a heel. He'll be insanely over as a face on his first show back. So they shouldn't have him do much to enforce himself as face, then his second show back he can reestablish himself as a heel.
Guest subliminal_animal Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 Of course he'll be a heel. Brock is a face. A monster who's a face...and a guy who wrestles with a broken neck and represents the USA for real (not Hogan-esque) is a heel. STUPID! But he's an arrogant asshole and a whiner. He constantly lords his accomplishments over everyone. Because he won gold medals and wears a flag pattern on his tights shouldn't make him a face. What you said is silly. Then again, remember when Molly & Trish were feuding? Molly was the heel because she was a virgin and Trish was the face because she was a whore who showed her ass to thousands weekly. What do you expect? I think it actually started because Molly was pushing her beliefs on everybody. And you can't really qualify Trish as a whore for what she does, at least to me. The Torrie character is a little closer, but not quite there.
Mecha Mummy Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 Eh. Trish preying on Molly's insecurities seemed pretty cruel to me, even if he was preachy as hell. And Trish isn't really a slut. Nidia would be a slut, especially in the beginning of her managerial run where she'd hit on Tajiri, Funaki, and just about everyone else.
Guest Space_Cowboy Posted May 15, 2003 Report Posted May 15, 2003 TELL ME this doesn't mean we get HHH-Nash II next month. I expect we'll get HHH-Nash-HBK in a 3-way Kliq Circle Jerk for the title instead of a straight up rematch.
