Nowadays, with smarkier crowds, fans view size as irrelevent compared to workrate, and there is a larger percentage of fans who won't accept someone in the main event purely through politics. Nash has been worthless in the ring since 1996 - that doesn't explain why his heat has diminished, which was ALWAYS there, despite his lack of in-ring ability. Guest evilhomer Report post Posted May 15, 2003 I think his bitching, whiny voice that he gets while cutting the intense promos does a lot of damage. It's very uncool and his previous coolness was pretty much his only redeaming quality. The smark concentrated crowds are also a major factor. Nash himself has always been largely hated by smarks, and his main event push for no apparent reason gives more fuel to this hatred. They should team Nash up with RVD.
