Ok, so they get rid of a *GREAT* show like Firefly only to put Fastlane on, which gets cancelled anyway? Genius!!!

What is Eliza's show about anyway?

IIRC, it's about a med student who can speak to the dead, then relive the previous day so she can prevent them from dying.

Didn't Firefly and Fastlane start at the same time, only Fastlane was originally on Wednesdays, then moved to Fridays when Firefly died?

EDIT: grammar

God damn them. Boston Public is in the death slot.

Well, it had a good run.

Atleast Boston Public stays! WOOOOOOOOOOOO!

For one more season, sadly.

Friday night is a deathslot on Fox. Check out everything that has aired their previously.

Yes, ever since Brisco County Jr., aired there has been nothing that lasts more then a season on Fridays at 8:00 on FOX.

I still mourn MANTIS.

Ahhh..Briscoe County Jr. Fond memories of the scifi/western starring the man himself. At this point Fox is among my least favorite networks simply because of all the shows they've gotten rid of (Family Guy, Andy Richter, Fastlane, John Doe) and the ones they've decided to keep on (Oliver Beene, American Juniors). I hope the network execs fall into a vat of acid, get out, and promptly fall into another vat of flesh eating ants.

But they picked up Norm's show!

Eh.

Norm's last sitcom was mediocre, and his last Weekend Updates were out and out bad with him needed recurring bits to keep the segments watchable.

First, I used to love FOX, but over the past few seasons I have gotten sick of them. I don't even bother with The Simpsons anymore.

Second, I was planning on catching John Doe reruns over the summer and then consider making it a regular show of mine. Too bad.

Third, I will watch Norm's new show since I don't watch anything else on Wednesday and I used to really dig his last show.

Lastly, Boston Public's first season kicked ass, but it turned to crap during Season 2, so I gave up on it. As for the Friday timeslot, The X-Files thrived in it for several years.

I'm pissed. First Fox axes Family guy, now they cancel John Doe.

FUCK YOU FOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please God let another network pick up John Doe. I don't care if it's FX or the freakin' Sci Fi channel.

AAARRRGGHHH!!

Agreed. That finale totally got me sparked to see what would happen next.

Sci-Fi OWES it to us to pick up this show, but instead I'm sure they'll treat us to new seasons of Tremors and Stargate (which, for some odd reason, DOES NOT END even long after it's passed its prime).

No one has watched Friday television since TGIF.

You're wrong.

NBC's Friday night shows do very very well. L&O:SVU is one of the highest rated shows on the network

I stopped watching Boston Public in the middle of this season when Verne Troyer came on the show and started a love storyline with Marla. I just had to throw my hands in the air and turn it to Monster Garage/Fear Factor.
