Guest ElectricRaccoon Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 That's unfortunate. Clone High was solid.
Mecha Mummy Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 Buffy wasn't canceled...they choose to end it. Being canceled makes it sound like no one wanted it anymore. Buffy and Oz (which aslo wasn't "canceled") are the only 2 I'll miss from that list. I thought some of those shows had been dead a while...Celebrity Death Match? I'll just miss Buffy. I thought CDM was canceled along time ago. Oh well, I didn't like the show that much anyway. Nope. They're working on the Deathmatch movie that has been rumored since 1999 right now. The last set of regular episodes was last year, and I believe the final show was either the clip show featuring those stupid mutant battles or the Survivor episode which ruled.
Guest Grand Slam Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 I am a upset that "Who's Line Is It Anyway?" was cancelled. Endless amounts of laughter from that show, although I am not suprised that the "Drew Carey Show" got the axe, it went downhill fast a couple of years ago.
Guest hardyz1 Posted May 16, 2003 Report Posted May 16, 2003 I can't believe the Drew Carey Show lasted so long. I stopped watching around the time when Drew and Kate hooked up. Still stewing over John Doe...
Guest Youth N Asia Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 I'm shocked Drew's still around. I loved the first few years of it. But I watched 2 of the new episodes a couple years ago back to back and there was just nothing funny in them. Sad, cause I use to laugh my ass off at Drew.
TheOriginalOrangeGoblin Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 Noly show I watched was Just Shoot Me. FUCK FOX for moving Boston Public to Fridays. I love that show but I'm never home on Friday's to watch it.
Guest CanadianChris Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 PLEASE tell me that Married By America not being on the list was an oversight.
Guest Cover of Darkness Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 it just amazes me how many shows just don't make it. You'd think these people would be in the business long enough to look at a show and know if it has "it" or not Dude... these are the same people who looked at Star Trek and went, "I'm not feeling it." DESPITE a massive write-in campaign.
Guest TonyJaymzV1 Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 scratch & burn (mtv) off centre (wb) odyssey 5 (showtime) john doe (fox) haunted (upn) futurama (fox) fm nation (mtv) clone high u.s.a. (mtv) TV Execs hate me.
Guest Mole Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 I can't believe the Drew Carey Show lasted so long. I stopped watching around the time when Drew and Kate hooked up. Still stewing over John Doe... I didn't even notice that. And I just noticed that Clone High was canceled. I didn't watch it much, but from what I watched, it was a funny show.
Guest Youth N Asia Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 Shows I was happy to see die: all american girl (abc) america's most talented kid (nbc) are you hot: the search for america's sexiest people (abc) battlebots (comedy_central) celebrity deathmatch (mtv) futurama (fox) i'm a celebrity, get me out of here! (abc) sabrina, the teenage witch (wb) weakest link, the (syndication) The only ones I'll miss are Buffy and Oz. Haunted was alright, but it ended a while ago and didn't even run long enough to get you in the storyline.
Guest Mole Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 You didn't like Futurama, Youth? I'm glad Battlebots got canceled, that is the DUMBEST show ever.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 The fact that both John Doe and Clone High got axed show that TV execs go into their boardrooms and say "Hmmm...Time to make Victim start thinking he actually knew what he was talking about when he picked his handle". I swear it sometimes seems like they pick a couple shows I set my TV schedule around and cut them just to drive me into dementia. At least Fastlane made the cut so I can still get my Tiffani fix. Edit: GOD-FUCKING-DAMMIT! FOX SUCKS THE SWEAT OFF A DEAD MAN'S BALLS! Ahem.... Now that I've got that out of my system, I would just like to say that Fox needs to rethink their programming when shows like "American Juniors" and "Oliver Beene" gets major network time. Thank you for listening. *apologizes to Mods for his temporary Tourette's Syndrome typing*
Guest Mole Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 Aww, Fastlane got canceled Victim, it just isn't on the list. Check the Fox lineup.
Guest Mole Posted May 17, 2003 Report Posted May 17, 2003 -- Fridays have FOX ditching both "Fastlane" and "John Doe" in favor of the newly relocated "Wanda at Large" at 8:00/7:00c and "Boston Public" at 9:00/8:00c. Sandwiched between the two is Luis Guzman's self-titled comedy. Sorry bro.
