WWE Folder

No most WWE fans on here that have watched Puro seem to like it a lot.

Fine. Stop buying WWE PPVs, and save that money for Puro/Old School tapes. Problem solved. Boycotting the product one constantly complains about, yet still watching the wrestling they love. But that would be too easy.

Can I not watch both? Plus I don't know where to really get some good Puro except online, but I absolutely hate buying things online.

hit me up on AIM la parka and maybe we can do something about getting you exposed to puro.

now, about the wwe folder...

like tom and brian, i stopped caring about wwf long ago and have not consistently posted in there for a very long time. with that said, just because you still watch wwe, does not mean that you don't have a right to bitch about the product. i stopped watching wwe tv about 8 months ago and feel better for it. i still see the ppv's every month and read the recaps every thursday and monday. i still keep up with the dirt and the exploits of the little company that fell to earth.

simply put, there is more to wwe than just the actual television product. being online allows us the privilege of being exposed to a side of the business not seen on tv. if not watching the product disabled us from criticizing the product than what is the point of even having a wwe folder? i could participate in every single thread in the wwe folder without watching a single minute of wwe tv.

I just don't post because I really only watch the WWE as a background noise. I stop and watch a few matches like HHH vs. Flair which I thought BOTH HHH and Flair did a very good job and made me care about the match. I stopped for the Highlight Reel and that is about it. Oh.. and I stop to watch the women's matches because Trish, Victoria etc are the few that go out and give 100%.

Great.Fucking.Post.

For the most part I just totally ignore RRR and Cury, unless they just totally pull something out of their ass from left field. There is no use for anyone who watches WWE to ever converse with either one of them, and the other guys who are in the WWE folder which act like them.

For one, they don't even watch RAW that I know of, so I don't see how they can complain about what they can't actually see. Another, is that they just say the same exact same thing over and over again, then go on to give one another verbal blowjobs.

I find it funny that they haven't made their way to this thread.

I've said it once, and I'll say it again, these guys are a type of cancer for the WWE folder as is. Fuck, it's led to me rarely posting in it anymore. It's hard to have fun talking about something I love so much, when all some guys want to do is flame bait away all day.

But is'nt it the SmartMark's mission to point out or should I say complain about everything that is wrong with the world?

Isn't that the purpose of the Internet in general?

I thought the main purpose for the internet was porn.

This is pretty much what I do. I can no longer be as passionate as some in the WWE Folder. Quite frankly, I just don't care anymore. The only reason I do watch (and I use that term very loosely) is because it's a force of habit for me.

I can't find any real reason to post at this board at all anymore. Everyone's either gone or ,like myself, just don't care anymore.

DH- You have to admit that you have some very unique views concerning wrestling many of which are often times open for criticism.

I'm glad you've started ignoring Rudo and Curry though. That's a step in the right direction

This ... is the most tasteless fucking thing I've ever read. And I even read the "jokes" about it from that other thread.

Only instead of ignoring this like I did those "jokes" .... it makes me want to...i don't know... BREAK YOUR FACE~!

You know what, chum....I don't speak up very often. I have control of my temper for the most part....but I have a short FUCKING fuse...and shit like that little quote are the kinds of things that make that fuse disappear faster than your braincells every damn time you sniff glue after an EXPLODER~! ....I used to have respect for you and a lot of the "elders" of these forums...I looked up to them to see how they acted and how they interacted with each other...but any respect i ever had for you went out the window. It has been tettering on the edge a while but this shit just made that respect commit suicide.

And before you get into your silly shit about "respect? blah...i don't care who respects me? blah blah blah only a messageboard laugh laugh fart" ... I'm a poster here too... I spend a good chunk of my nights looking around and putting in my stupid 2 cents worth. I try not to take flames personally but ya know...shit happens.

That quote was shit. And it happened.

A year and a half ago, I was awakened that morning by a phone call telling me to turn on the news. And I sat and watched all day, calling relatives in DC who could have been in the Pentagon. Luckily they were safe. But I felt a fucking bond with all of those people. And you have the nerve...the balls....the piece of mind to take something like that...that launched this country into a FUCKING WAR....and use it to try to insult a bunch of wrestling fans... for one...it's ignorant and stupid. Ignorant...according to Websters....means "not knowing"...

well Jubuki... i've come to realize that you do not know JACK SHIT when it comes to anything else other than you jerking off to pictures of yourself and trying to be a big shot when all you come off looking like is a complete fucking tool of your own self-inflated ego.

Do you kiss your mother with those lips...God knows they must be sticky from all the times you've gone down on yourself.

GEEEEzus Fucking Christ is right, Jubuki.......

*picks up a puro tape and throws it*

Go. Fetch.

'nuff said.

EDIT: And if you want to thread hop and follow me around and make fun of me because I kicked dirt in the face of your board image by OMG FLAMING you...then go ahead.... sometimes I need slapstick comedy to brighten my day...and what's better than you shoving your foot into your mouth every few minutes?

Y'know, despite your abrasive reputation, I really don't have a problem with you and think you tend to be a solid poster. That line, however, was *definitely* beyond the pale.

My thoughts on the WWE folder: it was a cesspool overrun by idiots, dumb marks, and bitter smarks back in the EZBoard days. I've seen nothing since the move to Ikonboard that would give me a reason to change that opinion. For people who bristle so much at being called things like "knuckle-dragging neanderthals," wrestling fans seem to take every chance they can get to prove those stereotypes accurate when they gather en masse for discussions.

DH- You have to admit that you have some very unique views concerning wrestling many of which are often times open for criticism.

Yes, I understand that some people can look at it that way, but I still do not understand why. Here are just a few that I know of off hand...

1) As for the older stars, call me nostalgic, but I feel that it's worth giving them a shot now and then. Then, if they can cut it, then bring them on. I know many would like to just totally take all of the older guys out and leave them in the past, but SOME of them still have a place, and some of them can still serve a good purpose. Take Ric Flair for instance. Sure the guy is getting up there in age, but as long as he can still do what he did on RAW, then I'm all for it. The same thing goes for Hogan, which leads me to...

2) I'm a "Hulkamaniac" and I think it's known by everyone here. I grew up watching Hulk Hogan (right along with Flair also) and I can't help but to cheer the guy on. To be quite honest, he isn't really all that worse NOW than he has ever been. Sure, his style may not mesh well with what we have today what with most new talent being faster, quicker, and more innovative, but the fans still dig him when he's given something to work with which will create a connection with said fans. I acknowlede that most of his matches suck in terms of in ring action, but that isn't why I like him. Call it a cheep pop for me, or call it just me cheering on my old favorite, call it whatever you want. I still enjoy him, always will, and I can't understand why some can't just take that for what it's worth.

3) Then we have the deal with the Hossi. I just happen to think that there IS a place in Pro. Wrestling for these guys, as long as they can pull it off. It's nothing new really however, because the "big man" has been in this industry for decades and will never go away. If booked correctly, they can prove to be a huge asset. Sure, WWE isn't doing the best job in the world at booking almost anything, but still.

4) I also happen to realize that not every match can be a classic ***** which many seem to expect or something. There is a place in Pro. Wrestling for the "spot fest", there is a place for the old school action ala Flair/Steamboat, there is a place for the hardcore antics of Mick Foley/etc..., there is a place for the big man/little man deal, there is a place for the punch/kick matches something like we have seen in MOST WWE main events for years and years.

To be quite honest, I'd be very dissapointed to see EVERY match be that of a ***** Pro. Wrestling clinic. I love great matches, we all do, but if every match was worked like a Benoit, Flair, Hart, etc... match then when we DO see one of these guys go off, it just wouldn't seem as special. This isn't to say that everything on the show shouldn't be as great as it could be, I'm just saying that it's GOOD to space things out, give everyone a shot, and let each style of Pro. Wrestling live.

5) Ah yes, then there is Goldberg. I love the guy, and many do not, and that's fine as I am sure many of you love what I hate also. For me, I just like him because he is really intense in the ring, he has a certain "quickness" that I enjoy (one of the reasons that I love Benoit), among other things. I'll be the first to tell you that he is no where NEAR what he was at his height in WCW, I would be insane to do so. As I look at Goldberg right now, I see him as a brand new talent, and apparently WWE sorta wants to make him look this way. His new music, his new tights, and his somewhat new in ring style (if this was WCW Goldberg, the Christian cage match would have been over in no time), and he looks to be trying to start over. It's what should be done though, because many WWE fans aren't totally familier with him and the ones that are need to get more familier with him all over again.

I hope they continue to push him, but take it somewhat slow as they are doing now. They made a huge mistake by inserting Steiner into the main event instantly, and I'm glad they are not doing this with Goldberg.

6) I also enjoy WWE for the most part right now, and I don't see why that should be a fucking issue of anyone else. I mean, if I am entertained then what is it to you? I do not spend my time in bitching about some of the guys here that are NOT interested in it, because quite simply, I don't give a rats ass what you do or do not enjoy. WWE IS in a downtime right now, but not the way that many mean it. The company is in a sort of creative downtime, and it's quite obvious, but this is NOT anything new. Every single federation goes through something like this every few years or so, and it's perfectly normal, and I don't see how people can't see that. The Pro. Wrestling industry is the sort of a roller coaster, going up and down all of the time. I watch right now because there are a few things that I do enjoy, and I love Pro. Wrestling as a whole. Then, when it REALLY gets good, I'm here waiting to see greatness once again. You never know when a show will come out of nowhere and suprise you, a match will take place that will blow you away, or the product as a whole will once again be able to be called "greatness".

...and besides those mute points, I really can't think of another thing that is "different" about me. I'm a Pro. Wrestling fan, always have been and always will be, and I stick with it through the thick and thin. If anyone can't handle that, then I pity them.

Besides, if anyone fucking hates it so much, why not do as I've suggested and either just stop watching, or get off of your pathetic ass and try to DO something about it? Flaming me for enjoying my hobby is not going to do you any good, it only makes you look like a fucking moron.

I also admit when I'm wrong, and really don't mind doing so. I was wrong about Nathan Jones being worth anything at all, and I admit it. Maybe it was his promos that really got me excited, but whatever it was I ended up being wrong.

Jubuki,

No Holds Barred or not, that was sick and uncalled for and I've lost any modicum of respect that I had for you.

I was an eyewitness to the events of 9/11 that day and I still have nightmares to this day about it.

I swear on my fucking life that it's taking everything I have in me NOT to ban you right now...because it would be against the rules I set.

Congratulations, you've becomes TSM's "Cocksucker Personfied" with one statement.

I usually don't hang in here much either, but holy fuck man, you take a national tragedy and use it for fuel for an argument on an internet message board? Fucking douchebag.

I've never had a problem with Jubuki myself, but with that one statement I have lost a great deal of respect that I had for him before that post.

One CAN say what they wish however, and that's fine. It only goes to truely show what one is made of, and I think this has said a lot about Jubuki.

1. The line was tasteless

2. Jubuki is just trying to piss all of you off

3. Dames, grow a spine. This is your message board. if you felt really passionate about something, you'd ban the fucker. No one would blame you. Giving him slaps on the wrist just makes you look weak. Look at me, I do what I want on this board. If people stood up against some of the shite here, it would be a tighter ship....thats if you want it to be that way. And I'm not telling you to ban Jubs. I am just suggesting that if you really were offended by the tasteless comment, pull the trigger.

Dames, those rules aren't exactly posted anywhere. Besides, there's no such thing as free speech on an internet messageboard. Do what you want, but FWIW, you have my blessing if you decide to let the axe fall.

I think Dames should whack him.

I think this speaks to the difference between Admins and Mods.

Mods have to strictly follow the rules set by the admins.

Admins clean up the untidier aspects on the board that mods hands are tied on.

It's not even about rules or growing a spine to me. It's about principle. Banning someone for something they said in No Holds Barred is generally a rule and I'd be a hypocrite if I did...at least I'd feel like one.

Hey, it may be "No Holds Barred" but there's insulting and flaming that isn't TOO harsh and sometimes entertaining (Banky, et al) and then there's being a complete dick that adds nothing to anything (Jubuki)
