Guest Dangerous A Report post Posted May 21, 2003 Unfortunately, AS, they'll probrably have Kurt come back as a bumbling oaf of a heel instead of the proper push he deserves. Even with an obvious face turn handed to them (just tell everyone he worked WM with a broke down neck already) WWE can't get it right.

Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted May 22, 2003 Wait and see. Once Kurt Angle comes back, the Mr. American stuff will get cut back. They are just filling time until Kurt comes back so they can make Lesnar vs Angle the top program on Smackdown. I hope the weather's nice there in La La Land. Guest croweater Report post Posted May 22, 2003 I just realised thet everyone has been bitching about a show that they haven't even seen yet. At least watch the show before you start comparing it to this weeks RAW. Then you can say how absolutely craptacular it is.
Guest Mulatto Heat Report post Posted May 22, 2003 Nah, I think I'd rather do other things tomorrow. Thus I read the spoilers to see if I miss anything special by doing that. Sorry.
Guest Choken One Report post Posted May 22, 2003 Although I am sure the Tag match was good...It was likely just the same paint by numbers performence as they all are and I can afford to miss them...
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted May 22, 2003 I have the new SD theme song saved, its about 1mb. I'll figure out where to upload it in a sec.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2003 On Tuesday, I made some comment that pissed my mom off, so she grounded me Thursday from SD. After looking at the spoilers, and I swear this is the first time, I could care less about missing it. The only thing I'd tape from the show is Mattitude~! Of course, the three Edward Norton movies we rented (Fight Club, American History X, and 25th Hour) probably have something to do with it We also rented The Hot Chick, but that's a movie I could care less about seeing. Guest MarvinisaLunatic Report post Posted May 22, 2003 New Smackdown Intro I messed around with the file and got it down to 595 kb. Its in mp3 format, 96 kb/s format. It is of course hosted on Geosuckies, which means that I hope someone who grabs it early hosts it. I could put it up on Kazza, but because my connection is so slow, it would take forever for someone to download it and it would pretty much freeze up mine at the same time. There is also a new video that goes with it (which is pretty spiffy, but it still has the Rock in it!), but I have no way of capturing video. Also of note is the fact that they ditched the sidebar thing with wrestler names and their entrance video for a new graphics set thats on the bottom of the screen like RAW, but its blue and has some backlash like hooks to it. Im also trying to figure out who its by.
Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted May 22, 2003 Yuna renting Fight Club and not caring about The Hot Chick? Scores cool points with me.
Yuna_Firerose 0 Report post Posted May 22, 2003 Yuna renting Fight Club and not caring about The Hot Chick? Scores cool points with me. I *usally* know good movies when I see 'em. Besides, dark comedies + Norton shirtless > Rob Schneider [i think I spelled that wrong..]. Also of note is the fact that they ditched the sidebar thing with wrestler names and their entrance video for a new graphics set thats on the bottom of the screen like RAW, but its blue and has some backlash like hooks to it. Why the hell are they changing?
Guest Mattdotcom Report post Posted May 22, 2003 You nailed Schneider and missed "usually". Ironic, ain't it? But yeah, Fight Club is one of my favorite movies and one of the few DVDs I reviewed for The Smarks back in the day.
Guest EdwardKnoxII Report post Posted May 22, 2003 This is something else I've notice. They have a O'Haire acting like a pussy and apologizing to Piper and Vince about Piper not beating Mr. America. Oh boy that's way different from the way he was suppose to be when he came back.

Oh boy that's way different from the way he was suppose to be when he came back. They basically killed that gimmick when it was apparent that O'Haire can't pull the gimmick off. He ends up just reading scripted lines with no capability of ad-libbing.

Damn, I hate typos. *sigh* And I think I'll lose all cool points I may've earned because...well...that was a good movie. Not great, but good enough for a rental. Not to mention Rob Schneider was kinda...um...kinda hot in this movie. Oh, fuck, that put me in the negative cool points.
