Denver should bring back the rainbow jerseys.

Those were ugly and gay.

That simply is an incorrect statment. They are neither ugly or gay.

I don't think they were ever powder blue and gold before; I think they're just capitalizing on what seems to be the hot color for uniforms right now (especially throwbacks), which is powder blue.

But Denver doesn't need a small forward or a power forward. They need a point and Center. Nikcoli Tsiivilisii(okay, thats not close to what it really is but deal with it) is a near 7 foot small forward with a inside and perimeter game(he was thier lottery pick last year) and he WILL be the starter at the SF spot. Mello just won't fit there. He will slip to #4 and the Nuggets will go for a bigger man like Bosch or some over seas big guy .

If the Nuggets had a clue and they want a big man, then they should draft Chris Kaman from Central Michigan.

Someone had an awesome line about him during the MAC Tourney: "If Chris Kaman came from Europe, had a foreign name and didn't speak English, he'd be the top prize in the draft."

On the Denver old jerseys, I must say after seeing a couple of people with them on at the club, they actually look nice.

Gordon Gund is the scarest man I've ever seen. No wonder people don't wanna play for Cleveland.

All you people saying that the Nuggets won't take Anthony or that they don't need Anthony...lay off the crack.

Tell me one white center from North America besides Bill Walton who has been anything but a decent player. Denver should take Anthony. They're in no condition to draft for need. They need to take the best player on the board.

He's blind. That's why he has the weird look on his face all of the time.

i think detroit should actually draft anthony and trade him to memphis for either lorenzen wright or shane battier an the thirteenth pick. that way they can address the need for a big man and pick up a quality draft pick.

Why would Detroit want that dog Lorenzen Wright? At least try to get a reliable C/PF if your gonna make a trade.

Nobody wants Lo Wright. The Pistons shouldn't push the panic button and they should just be grateful that they had such a great season. With Darko in their hands for the next 5 years, they should be good for years to come, especially in the East.

Didn't Tsvitilitsswhatever shoot like 30 percent from the field this year? That guy will NOT be worth anything in this league. Face it: the Nuggets just blew that pick. I heard before the draft last year that Tsvhissomething wasn't even a starter on his foreign league team. That some scuots saw him at practice and decided he was the Next Big Thing.

This is just indicative of the phase basketball is going through. As more and more European players break into the league and become good players, and hence get drafted in high positions traditionally reserved for US college players, there will be an uninformed, stereotypical backlash against them. Hockey went through the same thing but other than a few ignoramuses it's died down and now teams draft strictly based on BPA (best player available) and don't care where he's from. The NBA has already gone through a mini-phase of this with the whole high school players controversy. But until many of the archaic dinosaurs get over the fact that European players are here to stay in basketball, you will always get comments like this, people not making any effort at all to type or pronounce an easy European name (I've lost track of how many times Milicic has been referred to as "that Euro kid"), etc.

Top 10 Prediction -

1. Cleveland - Lebron James

2. Detroit - Darko Milicic

3. Denver - Carmelo Anthony :firing:

4. Toronto - Chris Bosh

5. Miami - T.J. Ford

6. LA Clippers - We all know how Donald Sterling gets during the Draft, but i'll say... Chris Kaman

7. Chicago - Dwyane Wade / Maciej Lampe

8. Milwaukee - Luke Ridnour

9. New York - I won't even waste my time. But, since they are always looking for a big man, i'd say Nick Collison. Layden will fuck up the pick, though.

10. Washington - Nick Collison

He started the season like SHIOT but as the season progressed he got better and that talent shown through. He has range, he has handles, he has size...I just don't see many teams calling it quits on a 7 foot ball handler with a jumper after having a weak HALF of a year. What they lack is anykind of big many and a point guard. If I still see them going for TJ Ford or a shotblocking big man. I'm not saying that Mello isn't the best player in the draft(thats what I believe) I'm saying he might not be what the Nuggets want.

And I do hope that Pavel Podkolzin will slip due to teams being scared off by his contract issues and the Suns can get him with the 17th pick. 7-4, 300 lb ATHELTE?? Yeah, he is raw and has no post game, but a great midrange jumper and blocks shots and rebounds. THATS ALL WE NEED.

If they don't pick Anthony then they should trade the pick. There are no other players in the draft worthy of the third pick and you open yourself up for some serious second guessing.

Dave Cowens, George Mikan.

Dave Cowens was only like 6-9, and Mikan played 50 years ago when the talent level wasn't has high.

Rik Smits

He had the nickname Dunking Dutchman for a reason you know.
