I decided to order the show. It was a decent show. The only negatives were the Goldylocks cell phone store segment and the inexplicable no dq during the tag match with Killings when the Harris Brothers ran in.

Well, the match, BoBo, was supposed to be Killings/Heavy D vs. Shark/Jack. So, the lack of DQ makes HALF-sense, as Heavy D was doing the attack. But it should've been a DQ anyways, as Ron interfered too.

 

The one thing I don't like about TNA is the complete lack of DQ's. I mean, Trinity would interfere right in front of the ref for Divine Storm and pre-heel turn Kid Kash, and no DQ. Kash throws a chair at somebody, no DQ. Interference? No DQ.

 

It'd be one thing if they (West/Tenay) said that TNA decided to adopt a more ECW-influenced style by having your average singles match be no-DQ, but...alas, no explanation.

 

The Goldylocks cell phone segment was laughably bad. Should've been on a JCW tape. On the upside of that skit, though, Goldy looked hot, and I believe her music was playing during it (which sounds REALLY good).

No need to comment a ton but I was pretty let down again this week by the show. The show started out good enough but then hit a downward spiral soon enough. Some of the segments reeked of pointlessness, which I've seen more and more lately and TNA, and obviously am not too excited about seeing either.

 

On the plus side, the show seemed to make it apparent for now at least that we'll see Raven v. Jarrett again. I hope to god the rematch will be at the Anniversary Show. They should just either save Glen's title shot until after that event or else book that match for next week in a surprise or June 4th, with a clear announcement beforehand that Raven will get the title shot at the June 18th show. I think its best to give Gilberti the title shot now (have him lose) and just get it over with, he can be a player but not at that level.......but they've put themselves in a corner (sans of John Cena leading into Backlash) so they might as well just do it ASAP.

 

I like the idea of these tournaments but honestly they didn't get to a good start really on the show.
