Guest The Son of Sting Posted March 25, 2002 Report Posted March 25, 2002 Eddy cancelled his tour with NJ at the weekend, im pretty sure that means the WWF have resigned him.
Guest Tony149 Posted March 25, 2002 Report Posted March 25, 2002 I don't know if he's signed a WWF contract, but if he did, then I think his name could be in the draft. I don't know if he is going to be there live.
Guest notJames Posted March 25, 2002 Report Posted March 25, 2002 Let's just hope Rey Rey's the one driving them to the arena...
Guest teke184 Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Yeah, Rey better drive, ESPECIALLY if they bring Juvy with them.
Guest Human Fly Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Maybe the Juice could be one of the new commentators
Guest teke184 Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Lord knows that Juvy's broken English is easier to listen to than Michael "Strudelmuncher" Cole's halfassed play-by-play...
Guest Choken One Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 That's what I love about you people, Yo hear something about Eddy canceling his tour and you instantly think he is back in WWF, tell me, If Jim Duggan cancels his Dentist appointment, is he making a triumphant return to the World Wrestling Federation?
Guest Mole Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 "That's what I love about you people, Yo hear something about Eddy canceling his tour and you instantly think he is back in WWF, tell me, If Jim Duggan cancels his Dentist appointment, is he making a triumphant return to the World Wrestling Federation?" No, he has been rumored to come to the WWF from 1wrestling.com, so take it for what it is worth.
Guest teke184 Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Konnan was on Wrestling Observer Live last night talking about how Rey Misterio probably signed a deal with the WWF and that Eddy had also received an offer, so it is logical to assume that Eddy cancelling a planned Japan tour could mean he's signed the deal the WWF offered him.
Guest TheHulkster Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Coming to the WWF is one of the few logical reason that someone would cancel a tour with NJPW. You figure, being a wrestler, there aren't a lot of opprotunities to make money outside the WWF, a New Japan tour is one of the few. So it makes sense.
Guest Brian Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 IMO, he's severing ties there if he cancels the tour, which is a big mistake unless he's got somewhere else to go.
Guest Mystery Eskimo Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 It would be fantastic to see Eddy back. If I was drafting him I'd have him in my top five, easily.
Guest Choken One Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 If I were drafting him, I would not worry to much about him.
Guest starvenger Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 Folks, it's obvious why he cancelled his NJPW tour: The Reuben Rivera and Darryl Strawberry situations have gotten Eddy too distraught to wrestle.
Guest dreamer420 Posted March 26, 2002 Report Posted March 26, 2002 I think it is too early for Eddy to return to the WWF from his recent firing. Has he cleaned himself up since getting fired?
