Guest Cassius Atkinson Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Here's an Everlasting thought... If Mr. McMahon really wants to prove that Hulk Hogan is Mr. America, then why doesn't he just make a match between the two, and if one of the two doesn't show up, then Mr. America will be proven as Hogan. Simple eh? Just a thought. CA
ChrisMWaters Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Ah...real logic applied to WWE... It just doesn't seem to work. ^^;
Guest Mattdotcom Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Because Hogan is indefinately suspended? Of course, Vince could lift it. Oh, wait, that's LOGICAL~!
ChrisMWaters Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Also...Hogan could always get a look-a-like to be Mr. America. ...trust me, there ARE Hogan lok-a-likes out there in the world. One of the managers at where I work has a father who looks EXACTLY like Hogan...right down to the skin tone.
Guest razazteca Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 But all of the potential fake Mr America's cannot or refuse to work for WWE.
Guest Cassius Atkinson Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 I suppose a look-a-like could work, but a sound-a-like too? I mean sure they may look the same, but the guy might have a high squeaky voice...unless Hogan did a voice over or something...
Guest The Bad Guy Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 I suppose a look-a-like could work, but a sound-a-like too? I mean sure they may look the same, but the guy might have a high squeaky voice...unless Hogan did a voice over or something... I'm sure there is someone who could pull it off... the voice over idea would work too.

The Look-A-Like of course would be Mr. America...and Hogan would be Hogan.
Guest NoCalMike Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 what about the fact that Hogan took his mask 3/4ths of the way off at the ppv to where you could clearly see his face and Vince could just use that as proof that he is Hogan. Release this useless bastard.
Guest bravesfan Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Here's a scary thought, which doesn't seem out of the question: Ahh-nold, just in time for his Terminator 3 premiere, is "un-masked" as Mr. America in a match against the recently reinstated Hogan. Vince has had a past affinity for the muscle-bound actors, including Schwarzenegger himself, so it seems likely that Vince will parade him around (especially if this all falls around July 4th, where Hogan likes to be uber-patriotic and stuff.)

Release this useless bastard. 3/4ths doesn't prove that he's Hulk Hogan, brother!

rising up out of the back seat-nuh Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 They'll do a Mr. America v Hogan match with someone BLATANTLY not Hogan (such as Tenacious Z) as America. Mark my words!
Guest Youth N Asia Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 Cause that would put an end to this retarded angle and it couldn't take up most of Smackdown for the next 12 years...DUH!
Guest Cassius Atkinson Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 I'll agree that the Mr. America angle takes up most of SmackDown! But that's only because the ratings seem to fly when Hogan is on camera (if Mr. America really is Hogan). So that is why they're making such a big deal out of it. I'm with you, hopefully it'll end soon, coz we all know it's Hogan and god knows before you know it we'll be hearing 'Real American' till the end of Survivor Series. But the WWE still want Hogan on screen for ratings.
Guest Dynamite Kido Posted May 22, 2003 Report Posted May 22, 2003 because they have to squeeze every penny out of merchandising first.....duh

I'm telling you, the lie detector test thingy is just an excuse to kill a week...
