Crimson Losing Matches

Guest KingOfOldSchool

Well, here's mine and

Spoiler (Highlight to Read):

John Duran's
losing match. I actually showed, and wrote the bulk of it to boot, but still came out on the losing end. Read and comment, if you wish...

---

The Japanese crowd inside the Tokyo Dome, polite and as courteous as usual, patiently await the competitors for this next match…

"(Axis) This is SJL Crimson, coming to you from the Tokyo, Japan! Again!"

"(King) Where are the Japanese schoolgirls?"

"(Axis) What do you mean?"

"(King) You know. Like the ones on those internet sites…."

"(Axis) Ah. We'll go look for a few of them after the show's over. Anyhow, we now have two matches to go until we say goodbye to our friends here at the Tokyo Dome… One of them, our main event, features Crow defending his title against #1 Contender 'The Red Rage' Viktor Tarakanov!"

"(King) Of course, this upcoming match stems from the match on Wrath where Viktor won his contendership status."

"(Axis) Right you are. After Va'aiga was supposed to have been thrown out of the arena, following an attack on our colleague Ben Hardy, the original No-DQ Fatal Four Way which was to feature Va'aiga, Tarakanov, Manson and 'Hollywood' Spike Jenkins… was changed to a No-DQ Triple Threat with only the latter three fighting it out. But Va'aiga had other plans, as he delivered chair shots to Manson, Tarakanov, Spike and Spike's valet, 'The Gothic Diva' Natasha. Tarakanov went on to win the match, but Manson didn't take kindly to Va'aiga costing him the possible victory, so naturally, we set the two up for tonight…"

"(King) Ahem."

"(Axis) with one stipulation, of course , as it's not just one on one. It's a Tag Match in which Manson and Va'aiga must choose their opponents! But that's not all, as the team which wins will procure the World and European Title #1 Contendershps. We have no idea who they've chosen, as they've kept their selections under lock and key, but we'll soon find out…"

Cameras pan over to the entrance area with a wide shot, as the house lights drop to black, only to pick back up with rapidly flashing red strobes, as the thrash stylings of "Hate Song" by the Haunted thunders over the speakers. Manson emerges through the entrance curtain and walks to the ring quickly.

"(Funyon) This bout… is a Double Contendership Tag Team Match, and it is scheduled for one-fall! From Denver, Colorado, USA! Weighing in at two-hundred and ten pounds, and standing six foot even. Here is… MMMAAAAANNNNSONNNN!

He raises a fist at the mention of his name, to the applause of the fans who know him from his previous stints in Japan, but also out of courtesy. He goes back into his focused state, walking with a purpose, an angry look on his face. Manson slides into the ring under the bottom rope and pops up to his feet, immediately going over to the corner and sitting down with arms stretched across the ropes. Manson looks up at the entry way, as the red lights continue to flash, and "Sinner" by Drowning Pool hits!

"(Axis) Manson's partner revealed! It's Duran!"

"(King) Which one?

"(Axis)… John Duran…"

John Duran strolls out from behind the entrance curtain, as he stares into the crowd, grimacing in anger and pent-up rage. The fans still clap regardless though, as Duran makes his way to the ring.

"(Funyon) And from Champaign, Illinois, USA! Weighing in at two-hundred and sixty five pounds, and standing six foot eight! Here is… JOHNNN DURANNN!"

"(Axis) Manson wasn't lying when he said that his partner may have just as much hate in his heart as him. This was evidenced when Duran defeated the double tough Tim Dillon in a Hardcore Match on Wrath…"

"(King) An awesome selection, specifically to counteract Va'aiga's strength and size."

As Funyon calls his name, Duran doesn't flinch, not even going so far as to acknowledge the crowd, inciting a small round of boos. He simply continues walking down the aisle, before leaping up onto the apron and stepping through the ropes. He arrives at he and Manson's corner, and he reaches down towards his partner, lending him a hand up off the ground. Manson accepts, and Duran pulls him up with ease, as the two begin discussing strategy for the match. As they continue talking, the arena drops to darkness once again, as Va'aiga's shadow appears in the entry way, dressed in his hooded training top with the hood down. The bassline of "Bring The Pain" by Method Man starts up and red strobe lights pierce the darkness of the entrance ramp as Va'aiga begins his slow walk to the ring.

"(Funyon) And their opponents. First, from Rotorua, Aotearoa, New Zealand! Weighing in at two-hundred and eighty five pounds, and standing six foot eight! Here is… "THE MAORI BADASS" VAAA'AIGA!"

Va'aiga throws a few phantom jabs at the mtnion of his name. Approaching the ring, he climbs the ring steps, and enters the ring over the middle rope. Va'aiga rolls down his hood and raises his fists to the crowd, to loud applause. He then takes off his top and throws it outside the ring to a ring attendant. As he fires off the Maori handsign, the Dropkick Murphy's "Barroom Hero" begins to play, the bagpipes blaring, and lyrics kicking in….

“Face down in the gutter, won’t admit defeat… those clothes are soiled and black!”

Cheap green shamrock confetti falls from the rafters, delighting the crowd, prompting Axis and Suicide King to realize who it is.

“He’s a big, strong man with a child’s mind, don’t you take his booze away!”

Tim dillon appears on the stage, as he soaks up the cheers from the fans and the introduction of Funyon.

"(Funyon) And his tag partner, from Limerick, Ireland! Weighing in at one-hundred and ninety pounds, and standing six foot one! Here is…TIIIM DILLONNN!"

Finally Dillon struts down the aisle with his arms in a boxer's pose, as he throws a few phantom punches, like Va'aiga before him. He slides into the ring, and pops up to stand beside Va'aiga. Referee Matthew Kivell signals for the bell.

::DING DING!::

"(Axis) Well, since Manson's mystery partner turned out to be John Duran, who better to use than Tim Dillon, who is no doubt looking for some measure of revenge after Duran's victory over him on Wrath..."

Both Dillon and Duran step back through the ropes, as Manson and Va'aiga begin circling each other around the ring. After one revolution around the ring, followed by a second, both end up back where they started, near their corners. Immediately Manson steps back, and looking towards Va'aiga, he reaches his arm up behind him, and Duran tags in…

"(Axis) Oh, c'mon. Just because he's too chickenshit to face Va'aiga…"

"(King) I doubt he is. Manson doesn't back down, and has faced wrestlers bigger than Vagina. He's just playing mind games."

John Duran makes his first entry into the match, as he steps over the top rope, and stares down Va'aiga from across the ring. The two hosses both charge forward, and lock up in an collar elbow tie-up. Both men struggle and push for an advantage, but neither man finds one. Looking for a way to break the tie-up, Duran thrusts his leg upward, and knees Va'aiga right in the bread basket. Va'aiga releases his hold on Duran and falls to the ground, as Duran bounces off against the ropes and gives Va'aiga a somewhat arrogant kick to the side of the head. Va'aiga rolls onto his back, and onto his knees, as he begins to pull himself up with the assistance of the ring ropes.

"(Axis) The team of Duran and Manson draw first here, as Duran fires up that knee up into the stomach of Va'aiga…"

Back up to his feet, Va'aiga decides that speed could be the way to go, as he and Tim Dillon coincide on the tag. Va'aiga steps over the top rope, to his apron, as Dillon taunts Duran. Duran, angry, tries to corner Dillon in a neutral corner, but Dillon squirms out of the predicament. Duran turns back towards Dillon slightly red-faced, but regains his composure at the advice of Manson on the apron. Duran calmly lumbers over and slaps the hand of Manson, bringing him into the ring, as Manson catapaults himself and jumps over the top rope.

"(Axis) Both Manson, called by some 'The Machine,' and Dillon in for the first time here, and it should be a closer match now."

"(King) Manson and Tim Dillon have similar builds, strengths and weaknesses, even if Manson does employ a bit more power in his offense and prefers to stick to the ground. Let's see how they match up."

Like their taller counterparts earlier, Manson and Dillon kick things off with a collar elbow tie-up. Dillon is first to get the advantage, but Manson quickly regains his footing, and swings Dillon into the neutral corner, nearest the announce table. Matthew Kivell warns Manson to get Dillon out of the corner, but Manson responds to his request by delivering two quick, stiff and deadly forearm shots to the jaw of Dillon. Manson backs off then and only then, as he steps backwards to the middle of the ring, and raises his arms outward, palms up with head tilted to the sky. The crowd boos the display of arrogance, as Dillon charges Manson out of the corner.

"(Axis) Dillon didn't like the two forearms from Manson…"

"(King) Wah, wah, wah. Manson is only doing his part to try and shake Dillon; and establish dominance."

"(Axis) Well, you wouldn't like it if someone did that to you."

"(King) Sure I would."

"(Axis) ..."

Dillon leaps up in the air, and extends his feet outward, knocking himself into Manson's chest with a running dropkick! Manson goes flying back and hits the canvas. He tries to pull himself up off the mat in the neutral corner nearest the aisle and separate himself, but Dillon is already there, as he front facelock's Manson. Dillon attempts to pull Manson out of the corner, but Manson hangs on to the top rope with his left hand. With an uppercut of his right hand, Manson delivers a hard punch into the kidney of Dillon. Dillon grimaces and lessens his grip, and Manson capitalizes by turning Dillon around, and lifting him up, bridging over into the pinning northern lights suplex in the middle of the ring! Kivell dives down to count…

"On--!"

"(Axis) Manson nearly got a one there off the northern lights. But there's still too much reserve left in Dillon, as he kicks out…"

Manson pushes up onto his feet first, as he bends down to bring Dillon up by his semi-long, light blonde hair. With Manson dragging Dillon over to the corner, John Duran reaches for the tag. And the tag is made! Manson hands Dillon off to Duran, as he exits the ring. "Let me show you how it's done!" Duran yells to Dillon, as Duran places him into the front facelock with his left arm, and throws Duran's left arm over his head. Duran grasps Dillon's waistband, and with a grunt, Duran lifts Dillon up into the air with ease. He stalls and holds him there for a long few seconds, before falling backwards and driving him into the mat with a vertical suplex. Manson's sick smile is evident through his long black locks which hang in front of his face, as Dillon lets out a scream. Duran keeps the hold locked though, and he climbs up to his feet, with Dillon still in prime position. Duran lifts him up once again, and stalls once again, as Dillon hangs limp. And just as before, Duran falls backwards, driving Dillon's body into the canvas.

"(Axis) John Duran now with rolling vertical suplexes, and I don't know where he got the idea for those. But I don't think it's a coincidence that he has a proficient technical expert in his corner, and suddenly he's doing these rolling verticals."

"(King) Well, it's not as if they're that hard to do. The only concern is that you have enough stamina, as after a while, rolling whatevers take as much out of you as they do your opponent."

Duran, now smiling at the pain he's causing Dillon, keeps his hold locked on still. He lifts him up once more, attempting to drop him for the vertical suplex again. But Dillon, coming to slightly, kicks his legs, and squirms out of the vertical suplex hold, emerging behind John Duran! With a run to the ropes, announcer's table side, Dillon springs off the ropes, as Duran turns around. But as Dillon charges Duran, the big monster bends down and lifts Dillon up by his chest and waist, appearing to go for a gorilla press… But Dillon gets out of the move again, and wraps his legs around Duran's head. Dillon snaps back and takes Duran over onto his head with a hurricanrana! Manson looks on exasperated, as Va'aiga slaps the turnbuckle, urging to crowd to clap in unison for Dillon to make it to his corner.

"(Axis) An amazing reversal for Tim Dillon, as he gets out of what could have been bad news, as it looked as if John Duran was setting up for the Gorilla Press. But Duran, amazingly, countered with a hurricanrana!

"(King) That wasn't so great."

Dillon makes it to his corner, and makes the hot tag to Va'aiga, while Duran makes it to his and tags in Manson! The Maori Badass and Hate Personified enter the ring, and after some hesitation, Manson charges Va'aiga. Manson kicks his leg up, and tries to boot Va'aiga in the face with his yakuza kick. But Va'aiga catches Manson's leg and drags him in by it, before tripping his standing leg. Manson hits the mat and Va'aiga mounts him, and begins swinging! Manson covers up by sticking his forearms in front of his face, but the brute strength of Va'aiga's punches are still felt.

"(Axis) Va'aiga is fired up now, after watching Dillon nearly being taken down by the monster Duran… Now he gets the chance to bust up Manson's face, brutally I might add, as they finally collide."

Matthew Kivell, concerned for Manson's safety, tries to pull Va'aiga off of him. Va'aiga leaps up off of Manson to confront Kivell, but as a look of fear washes over in Kivell's eyes and he turns away, Manson shoots his arm up and he low blows Va'aiga!

"(Axis) What the?"

"(King) Manson was only doing what has to be done. He was forced into taking such extreme actions."

Va'aiga doubles over from the impact of the blow to his crotch, and Manson takes the advantage, getting to his feet and swiftly swinging a knee up into the face of the Maori! The echo of the impact rings through the Tokyo Dome as Va'aiga goes down to the mat from the hard blow to his kisser. Manson immediately goes down to the mat, covering Va'aiga as Kivell slides around to count...

"On--!"

Va'aiga quickly kicks out, the Maori Badass not even close to done in this bout. Manson slowly brings the Maori back to his feet, struggling against the weight of Va'aiga before grabbing his right arm and attempting to whip the Badass into the ropes. Va'aiga easily reverses the Irish whip, however, sending Manson into the ropes. On the rebound from the ropes, Va'aiga extends an arm and attempts to run over Manson, but Manson ducks the lariat attempt and goes off the opposite ropes, towards the entry way. Rebounding off the ropes again, Va'aiga beats Manson to the punch, so to speak, by getting a running start towards Hate Personified and lifting up his big boot, slamming it into the chin of Manson and sending him down like a ton of bricks.

"(Axis) What a Yakuza kick from Va'aiga! I bet they felt that one all the way back in the States!"

Manson's adrenal glands are running overtime, though, and Manson is right back to his feet even after the vicious kick from the Maori Badass. Manson surprises Va'aiga with the quick return to his feet as he leaps up, extending his legs and nailing Va'aiga with a dropkick. Manson drops back down to the mat, and Va'aiga is sent stumbling against the ropes. Seizing the advantage, Manson strikes again, slamming his left leg into the right side of Va'aiga's body with lightning-quick speed, followed by a kick from Manson's right leg into the opposite side. Manson attempts to use the left again, but Va'aiga catches him this time, grabbing him by the leg and spinning him around in a three hundred and sixty degree circle, coming face to face with the Maori. Va'aiga steps to the right side of Manson, stepping behind Manson's right leg with his right foot before damn near taking Manson's head off with his right arm, sweeping Manson's leg out from under him and sending both men down to the mat as Va'aiga connects with an STO.

"(Axis) Space Tornado Ogawa! Very well-executed by Va'aiga!"

"(King) Just say STO, you geek."

Va'aiga immediately goes for a pin on Manson, as Kivell swings around to count...

"ONE--"

The counts are getting somewhat longer, but not long enough, as Manson kicks out before the count of one, still not finished yet with Va'aiga. Va'aiga picks Manson up by his black hair, going over to the corner to tag the fresh man Tim Dillon. However, Manson fires a couple of elbows back into the midsection of Va'aiga, as Manson somehow takes advantage, tossing Va'aiga into the ropes and avoiding the tag. Manson follows closely behind the Maori and on the rebound lifts up his boot and stops Va'aiga's momentum in its tracks, sending Va'aiga down to the mat. Manson waits for Va'aiga to get to his feet, as Duran begs for a tag. However, Manson shrugs it off, telling Duran to wait. It doesn't take long for Va'aiga to get to his feet, and once he does, Manson tries to meet the Maori Badass with a boot to the midsection, but Va'aiga blocks it and counters with an attempted right hand. However, Manson gets his left arm up, blocking it and allowing for his right boot to find its target in Va'aiga's midsection, doubling over Va'aiga long enough for Manson to grab Va'aiga's right arm with his left. Va'aiga tries to throw him off, but Manson quickly raises his right hand, and delivers multiple, quick-hitting chops to Va'aiga's neck. Va'aiga goes to a knee.

"(Axis) Very impressive work from both men there, as Manson just eked out the victory in that brief showdown."

Manson rolls Va'aiga over and applies the lateral press for the pinfall as Kivell is right there, hitting the mat and administering the count.

"ONE!"

Va'aiga kicks out easily at one, as it's going to take much, much more than that to bring Va'aiga down. Both Va'aiga and Manson are slow to get to their feet, both seemingly out of adrenaline, as Va'aiga goes on the offensive first, kicking Manson in the solarplexes and then whipping him into the side ropes. Va'aiga bounces off the opposite ropes and charges at Manson, but they both get the same idea, as they both clothesline each other to the mat.

"(Axis) This is a golden opportunity for both men in the ring, King."

"(King) That's right, as soon as Manson tags in Duran, he has to take Va'aiga down."

Both men begin to inch towards their respective corners, Dillon stretching out his hand and pounding on the turnbuckle, attempting to get the Japanese crowd behind the Irish drinker and the Maori Badass, as Manson makes progress towards his partner, Duran yelling at Manson to get his ass moving. The crowd begins to get behind Dillon and Va'aiga, as Va'aiga gives one last leap...and connects with the hand of Tim Dillon! Dillon enters the ring as Manson slaps hands with Duran, Duran entering almost a second later than Dillon. Dillon takes this advantage and runs with it, knocking down Duran with a dropkick. Manson gets to his feet as well, and he gets a dropkick to knock him right back down and out of the ring. However, Duran has snuck behind Dillon during all of this, and as Dillon turns around to face John, Duran slaps a hand around the throat of Dillon, quickly lifting Tim up off the ground, making sure that the Limerick native gets plenty of hang time before slamming Dillon right back down the ground WITH AUTHORITY.

"(Axis) Dillon was on fire there for an instant, but he gets decimated with a chokeslam from the powerhouse that is John Duran…"

Dillon struggles up to his feet, but as soon as he gets back up to a knee, Duran tosses him back down and covers with the lateral press. Kivell dives for the count.

"ONE!"

Dillon kicks out, and Duran gets up to his feet. Waiting for Dillon to stand, Duran waits over him, poised to attack. Dillon up to his feet now, and Duran wraps his arms around his waist, squeezing the life out of him. With a charge, Duran drives Dillon hard back first into the neutral corner, nearest the announce table. Dillon's head slams against the top turnbuckle, and he goes limp, as Duran raises his boot to the neck of Dillon, and begins pushing, choking him out.

"(Axis) Duran with the boot choke on Dillon, and the Irishman isn't faring too well…"

"(King) Good."

Duran releases the boot from Dillon's throat at Kivell's command, but glares at Kivell in the process, intimidating him. Dillon stumbles out of the corner, reaching for his partner as he glides down the ropes by his right hand. But as Duran turns his attention back towards Dillon, he rears his arm back and brings it forward, clotheslining him down hard from behind, putting stop to hopes of a tag. Dillon keeps reaching, in vain however, as Duran drags him to the center of the ring by his feet, then mounts him from behind, wrapping his arms around his chest.

"(Axis) Dillon is still in a dicey situation, as Duran gets him into the bearhug."

Dillon fights to breathe, and continues to claw to his corner, though not making much progress. A few long moments pass, before Dillon begins making his way to the side ropes. He fights some more, before reaching, as Kivell calls for the break. The fans clap the show of fortitude, as Matthew Kivell prys Duran's arms off of Dillon. Dillon crawls to his corner, and with the fans clapping… he comes just inches within of his Va'aiga, as Duran attempts to drag him back to the center of the ring. Duran pulls Dillon up to a stand, and with Dillon hopping on one leg now, he leaps, and nails Duran with a dropkick!

"(Axis) Dillon fights out of the bearhug, but he's not out of the woods yet…"

Duran is quickly up to his feet, as Dillon crawls for his corner. With a last leap, he reaches for Va'aiga. The tag is made!

"(King) Dammit. Duran freaking had him!"

Manson looks on from his corner with a look of worry, as he holds out his hand and screams for Duran in hopes that Duran will tag out. Duran doesn't however, and as he gets to his feet, Va'aiga climbs through the ropes, and charges Duran. Va'aiga lowers his right shoulder and tries for a shoulderblock, and he connects, but Duran holds his ground, only stumbling back into the ropes, then staggering into the center of the ring. Va'aiga steps back into the ropes, camera-side, and he springs off, running towards Duran. Va'aiga possibly trying for another shoulderblock is stopped in his tracks by a boot to the mid-section from Duran. Duran wraps his arms around Va'aiga's waist from behind, and tosses him overhead with a release suplex. The ring shakes, but Va'aiga is back on his feet as quickly as he was tossed. As Duran turns back around, Va'aiga wastes him with a lariat, before falling to a knee.

"(Axis) LLLLLAAAAAARRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIAAAAAAAATOOOOOOO~!~!~!"

"(King) What the hell is wrong with you?"

Duran gathers himself, still on the mat, as Va'aiga dives over to pin Duran. Kivell is there…

"ONE!"

"TWO!!"

"T--!"

Duran kicks out at two, as Va'aiga grimaces and the crowd groans. Va'aiga sits dejectedly for a minute, before getting to his feet and pulling up Duran. Va'aiga grabs the arm of Duran and whips him into the ropes, but makes the mistake of sending him in too close to his own corner. Manson slaps Duran's back as he bounces off, and the referee signals that the tag was made as Manson comes into the ring. Duran exits the ring, as Manson rushes Va'aiga, but Va'aiga shoulder blocks him down, knocking him to the mat Manson is up quickly, and Va'aiga places him in a front facelock. Throwing Manson's near shoulder over his neck, he synches the waistband of his jeans, and lifts him high up into the air. Va'aiga drops down onto his back, as he plants Manson into the mat at a high angle.

"(Axis) VA'AIGA WITH A BRAINBUSTER!"

Va'aiga reaches over and tags in Dillon. Va'aiga calls for Dillon to head up to the top, and Dillon does so. He looks out over the crowd who oohs and aahs, before jumping down from the top, and landing across Manson's throat with a guillotine leg drop! Dillon seques into the pin, as Va'aiga raises his hands as he exits the ring. Kivell counts…

"ONE!"

"TWO!!"

"THR--!"

But the pin is broken up by Duran, who hurries across the ring and dives on Dillon, thus deflating the crowd…

"(Axis) BROKEN UP!"

"(King) I have no doubts that it would be over if it weren't for Duran."

Kivell forces Duran out of the ring, as Dillon pushes up towards his feet, waiting for Manson to stand. Manson does, but he quickly locks Dillon in a bodyslam position. He struggles with it at first, but eventually lifts him up off the ground, turning him upside down and piledriving him into the mat with a Michinoku Driver. He pushes on the chest, holding on for the pin, as Kivell counts…

"ONE!"

"TWO!!"

"THR--"

But just as Duran broke up the pin before, Va'aiga does the same…

"(Axis) Manson with the Call of Cthulhu, his name for the Michinoku Driver, and we have another close call…"

Va'aiga lifts up Manson from the ground, but just as he lifts him up, chest to chest for the Maori Drop, Duran rushes the ring and breaks the two apart, knocking Va'aiga through the ropes and out of the ring in the process. With that, he pulls Tim Dillon up off the ground, and takes him up on his shoulders, into a reverse fireman's carry position. Duran drops to the mat, while swinging Dillon's legs out. Dillon lands in the neckbreaker, and now back up on his feet, Duran pulls Manson over and places him on top of Dillon in a lateral press… Kivell makes the count…

"ONE!"

Va'aiga slides into the ring…

"TWO!!"

He leaps at Manson…

"THREE!!!"

But it's too late, as the Japanese fans cheer for the match they've just seen!

::DING DING!::

"(Funyon) Your winners, MMMAAANSONNN and JOHNNN DURANNN!"

"(Axis) Manson and John Duran, with the win!"

"(King) WOW! If it wasn't for John Duran, who knows how this would have ended up."

"(Axis) Whatever the case, Manson is now the #1 World Contender, while Duran is the #1 European Contender… Both teams showed tremendous spirit and resolve here tonight. But Manson and Duran eked it out. The winners should be facing Crow and Viktor Tarakanov, respectively, very soon. That is, if Crow can get through Viktor Tarakanov. Next."

"Hate Song" hits, and the last shot of the match is of Manson holding his arm in the air as Duran drags him out of the ring, and of Va'aiga standing over Dillon shaking his head and looking towards Manson and Duran, seething.

[We return from the previous promo to Suicide King, and Axis, are sitting at the announcers position. Both fumble with some papers, before looking up at the camera with smiles on their faces.]

[Axis] We are here, live in Japan, for SJL Crimson!

[suicide King] We have a great show tonight, that will end with the SJL World Title on the line in a Vodka Shot match, between the champion, Crow, and the challenger, Viktor Tarakanov!

[Axis] That will prove to be one hell of a brawl.

[suicide King] But first, we have some no-names curtain jerking for us tonight.

[Axis] Don't say that King! Who knows? One of these men can be the next superstar of the SWF! Let's get the ball rolling, and this show on the road!

[solomon storms down to the ring to Limp Bizkit's "My Way" wasting no time on taking down his opponent.]

[Axis] Here is youngster, Scott Solomon. He was in a rush to get down to the ring! Let's get to the next person in this match!

[The lights slowly fade to black as the 'Legion of Doom' Theme begins to play. The crowd erupts into cheers as a wall of fire rises on the stage. Through the fire, calmly and confidently walks Cassius Atkinson, followed by Dominator. He slowly walks down the ramp and climbs the steel steps and into the ring between the top and middle rope. Cassius climbs each turnbuckle in no particular order and taunts a little like Scott Steiner does. Finally, in the centre of the ring he raises his arms and the flames die down.]

[Axis] Next, is a man known to the Japan crowd, here tonight! He trained here several years ago, and we expect him to be a huge hit among the crowd!

[Red lights begin flashing around the arena. "Guerilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine starts up over the PA, and Dan "The Phoenix" Caldwell walks out wearing a black robe, and as expected, gets his loud uprising from the Japanese fans. Dan makes his way to the ring. Dan walks towards the ring, and quietly gets in. Dan takes off his robe, and punches himself on the side of the head to warm himself up for his match.]

[Axis] All three men in the ring, and are ready to get it on! Let's go to Funyon, who will make the introductions!

[Funyon] First, to my right, in the blue corner! At 260 pounds. From Springfield, Illinois. He is Scott Solomon!

[scott walks out of his corner, and holds his arms in the air, and quietly backs back into his corner.]

[Funyon] Next, also to my right, in the red corner! At 256 pounds. From Tyler, Texas. He is Cassius Atkinson!

[Cassius does the same as Scott, slowly walking out of the corner, holding his arms in the air, and walking back to the corner.]

[Funyon] And to my left, in the red corner! At 250 pounds. From Chicago, Illinois. He is, "The Phoenix" Dan Caldwell!

[Dan steps out of the corner, and holds his arms in the air, and starts to hop up and down to get his juices going. Dan gives himself a few hard slaps across the face, to get going, and quietly walks back into his corner.]

[Axis] Let's ring the bell, and get this match started!

[Funyon steps out of the ring, as the referee signals for the bell, and all three competitors step out of their respectful corners, and near each other to the center of the ring.]

[Axis] Three new competitors to the SJL, great to see this type of action!

[suicide King] Hopefully, they don't suck!

[Axis] That isn't funny, King!

[suicide King] I wasn't trying to be.

[All three eye each other suspiciously. Scott and Dan move in close to each other, as Cassius backs up into a corner, holding his arms out, telling the other two to fight each other. Dan and Scott lock their arms together in a collar elbow tie up. The two struggle back and forth, fighting for control, but the stronger Dan takes it, and pulls Scott into a headlock. Dan starts wrenching on the neck of Mr. Solomon. Scott throws his arms around, trying to sneak a way out, but Dan has the hold locked in tight.]

[Axis] Dan Caldwell starting the match with a very basic headlock.

[suicide King] Well, this will be one exciting match! You can tell by that headlock!

[Very uncharacteristic, Dan spins around Scott's head and around his body, lucha style, and goes to lock Scott in a hammerlock. But instead of locking Scott in a hammerlock, Dan does another spin, but in the direction of Cassius. Cassius, not knowing what is going on, nearly gets his head knocked off, as Dan gives him a stiff elbow to the side of the face, knocking Cassius into the corner.]

[Axis] What an elbow from Dan Caldwell, nearly knocking Cassius Atkinson's head off!

[suicide King] It looks like Dan Caldwell is about to go for the kill on Cassius.

[Dan goes to make his way to the corner that Cassius is laying in, but Scott Solomon stops him before he can, with an elbow to the back of Dan's head. Scott gives Dan a few overhand punches to the back of Dan, and pulls him out of the corner, and more into the center of the ring. Scott wraps an arm around Dan's waist, and uses his strength to lift Dan into the air, looking for a belly to back suplex. Dan senses the suplex coming, and shifts his weight around, allowing him to fall backwards behind the still standing Scott, and landing on his feet. Very quickly, Dan wraps his large arms around Scott, with a waist lock. Using his massive strength, Dan lifts Scott back into the air, and releases the waist lock, allowing Scott to fall head first onto the mat.]

[Axis] Release German Suplex by Dan Caldwell! Dan has taken control of this match from early on, and it looks like he is becoming the favorite on winning.

[suicide King] Dan Caldwell dropped Scott Solomon on the back of his head! He can be seriously hurt after that!

[Dan goes to stay on the attack on Scott, but from out of the corner behind him, runs Cassius at full speed. Cassius grabs Dan by the back of the head, and dives forward, pulling Dan down with him.]

[Axis] Flying bulldog by Cassius, stopping Dan before he can hand out anymore punishment!

[suicide King] A smart move by Cassius Atkinson. Waiting for Dan Caldwell to have his back turned, before attacking. I would of done the same thing!

[Cassius pulls himself to his feet. Dan lays on the mat holding his forehead, next to Scott Solomon, who is beginning to show some life, as he rolls around. Cassius quickly begins putting the boots to Dan's ribs, and the top of Dan's head. Cassius walks around Dan, up to Scott. Cassius grabs Scott's hand, and pulls Scott up to his feet.]

[Axis] What is this? Are Cassius Atkinson and Scott Solomon joining forces to take down Dan Caldwell?

[suicide King] Well, this isn't good news for Dan.

[scott and Cassius both nod towards each other, and turn their attention to Dan. Cassius reaches down, and grabs Dan by the back of the head, pulling him up to his feet. Scott and Cassius got on each side of Dan, and both lock him in a suplex position. Both lift Dan straight into the air, and fall backwards, driving Dan back first into the mat.]

[Axis] Double suplex by Scott and Cassius, taking down Dan Caldwell!

[suicide King] Told you it wasn't good news for Dan.

[Axis] You seem to be right about that, King.

[Cassius and Scott both get to their feet, and they converse over what to do next to Dan. They both agree on what to do, as Cassius walks around to the legs of Dan, and lifts them up, and drags Dan by them into the center of the ring. Scott walks over to the ropes, and steps through them onto the apron, and proceeds to make his way up to the top rope. Cassius locks Dan's legs under his arms, as if setting up for a boston crab, but doesn't turn Dan over.]

[Axis] Cassius is locking Dan's legs, so Dan can't move out of the way of whatever is coming.

[scott leaps off the top rope, bending his body, and curving his arm, as he drives his elbow into the chest of Dan Caldwell!]

[Axis] Top rope elbow drop by Scott Solomon onto Dan Caldwell! That high risk move can end the match right now!

[Without hesitation, Scott immediately goes for the cover.]

[One!]

[Two!]

[but before the three count, Cassius walks around, and pulls Scott off of Dan, breaking the pin fall! Scott leaps off the mat, and gets into Cassius' face. They both begin to argue, about who is going for the pin, which ends up starting into a shoving match.]

[Axis] The match would be over after that top rope elbow drop, if Scott Solomon would have been able to keep the pin on Dan Caldwell! But Cassius stopped it, because he wants to win this match too!

[suicide King] Very good, Axis. Now, what is 2 + 2?

[Axis] Don't talk to me like I am stupid.

[The shoving match in the ring seems to have started to get both men angry, and soon, they are both throwing punches and elbows at each other. After some brawling, Cassius finally gets the upper hand with an elbow that hits Scott on the side of the face, knocking Scott backwards into the ropes. Cassius grabs Scott by the wrist, and goes for an Irish whip, which Scott reverses, and sends Cassius across the ring. Cassius runs into the ropes, and on his way back, Scott ducks his head, going for a back body drop. Cassius sees the opportunity, grabs Scott by the head in a front face lock, and leaps into the air, falling backwards and driving Scott head first into the mat with a running DDT!]

[Axis] Excellent DDT on the part of Cassius. If he pins Scott, he can have this match won!

[Cassius leans over the body of Scott, and attempts to get the pinfall victory.]

[One!]

[Two!]

[but before the three count, Dan Caldwell, who is now back up to his feet, grabs Cassius by the ankle, and pulls him off of Scott, and more into the center of the ring. Dan turns his body around, and steps over Cassius, facing his legs. Dan, still holding the right ankle of Cassius, locks the ankle under his arm, and pulls back, with a Half Boston Crab.]

[Axis] The move Dan calls the Gyakukataebigatme....I think that's how it's pronounced.

[suicide King] The Guy.a....what?

[Axis] It's the Japanese name for a Half Boston Crab, King.

[suicide King] Why can't he just call it a Half Boston Crab then?

[Axis] Because that is what they call it here in Japan, where Dan trained.

[Locked in the hold, Cassius screams for his life, as Dan pulls back on the leg. Cassius throws his arms around, trying to find anything to grab on to help him out, but nothing is around. Cassius tries to fight off the pain in his leg, but it soon begins to get to him. He holds his arms out, trying to reach the ropes, but he is stuck in the middle of the ring.]

[Axis] Dan Caldwell, using one of his many submission maneuvers, might get the win here with the Half Boston Crab!

[suicide King] Otherwise known as the Guy-a-bukaki-move!

[Axis] King, what are you talking about?

[suicide King] Just my intake of the Japanese language.

[back in the ring, Dan still has the half crab locked in, as the referee is on the mat, questioning Cassius Atkinson if he is going to tap out or not. Cassius refuses, but the pain is starting to get to his leg, and lower back. Cassius know's there is no way out, but still refuses to tap out. From out of the corner of the ring, runs Scott Solomon. Scott runs into the ropes facing Dan. Scott bounces off the ropes, and runs into Dan, driving his shoulder into Dan's ribs with a spear! Dan falls backwards onto the mat, and the half crab is broken. Cassius holds his knee, and rolls towards the ropes, and out onto the ring apron. Scott takes the quick chance for the pin.]

[One!]

[Two!]

[but, Dan gets a shoulder up.]

[Axis] Scott Solomon almost picks up the win with a spear to Dan Caldwell! If Scott didn't break the Half Boston Crab, this match might be over!

[suicide King] Might, being the key word.

[scott leaps off the mat, and stays on the attack on Dan. Scott leans down, and grabs the head of Dan Caldwell, and pulls him up to his feet. Scott gives Dan a quick kick to the gut, bending him over. Scott locks his arms around Dan's waist, and sets himself up for a powerbomb type move.]

[Axis] Scott Solomon can be going for his finisher, The Blaster, now! If he hits this, this match can be over!

[scott pulls up most of the strength he has, and lifts Dan into the air, in a powerbomb position. Scott balances Dan on his shoulders, getting ready to throw Dan off into a face buster. Scott finally gets into position, and throws Dan off his shoulders, but Dan got enough time to regain his composure on Scott's shoulders, drops down, and lands on his feet in front of Scott. Dan grabs Scott by the back of the head, and pulls him into a knee to the gut, bending him over.]

[Axis] Dan Caldwell countered The Blaster, by landing on his feet!

[Dan holds Scott by the back of the head, and begins showing his shoot fighting history, as he begins ramming his knee several times into Scott's face! After the sixth or seventh knee to the face, Dan lets go of Scott's head, and Scott collapses to the mat, with a bloody nose and a busted lip!]

[suicide King] WOW!

[Axis] Dan Caldwell just destroyed Scott Solomon with those sniff knees to the face! Scott may be out cold!

[suicide King] I hope he is, so he doesn't feel the pain!

[Dan Caldwell starts to stomp around the ring, with a crazed look in his eyes. Dan stops in the middle of the ring, looking directly at the camera, and lets out a scream, that startles most of the crowd, and the announcers. Dan gives himself a hard punch right to the face, and quickly turns towards the downed Scott Solomon.]

[Axis] I think it's safe to say that Dan Caldwell, has snapped.

[suicide King] I wouldn't want to be in the ring with him right now.

[Dan walks over to Scott, leans over, and grabs Scott by the back of his head, lifting Scott to his feet. Dan hooks his arms around Scott's, and sets Scott up for the Tiger Driver. The stronger Dan lifts Scott up into the air with ease, and drives Scott down, back first into the mat, with the Tiger Driver! Dan drops down to the mat, and hooks Scott's leg for the pin!]

[One!]

[Two!]

[but through the air, dives Cassius Atkinson, as he drives the elbow into the back of Dan's head, breaking up the pin!]

[Axis] Dan Caldwell had the match won with the Tiger Driver on Scott Solomon, but Cassius Atkinson stopped the pin with his own finisher, the Everlasting Elbow, the elbow drop from the top rope!

[suicide King] If Cassius goes for the pin, this match could be over!

[being cautious, Cassius rolls Scott Solomon under the bottom rope, and to the outside of the ring, so he can't miraculously break the pin. Scott turns back to Dan, who is holding the back of his head, after the Everlasting Elbow. Scott slides over to Dan, and turns him over onto his back, and goes for the pinfall victory!]

[One!]

[Two!]

[Dan Caldwell gets a shoulder up! Cassius looks around stunned that Dan kicked out of his finisher. Cassius jumps up to his feet, and reaches down, grabbing Dan, and pulling him to his feet. Cassius pushes Dan backward into the ropes, and attempts to Irish whip him, but Dan reverses it, sending Cassius across the ring. Cassius bounces into the ropes, and on his way back, Dan ducks his head, attempting a back body drop. Once again, seizing the moment, Cassius stops short, and hooks Dan's arms together, and drops back in a double arm DDT!]

[Axis] Double arm DDT by Cassius Atkinson!

[suicide King] It is all over if he goes for the cover!

[instead of going for the pinfall, Cassius gets back up to his feet, and steps around to the head of Dan Caldwell. Cassius uses his foot to push Dan's arm into his body, and signals for The End of the Line!]

[Axis] Instead of going for the cover, Cassius is going for his other finisher, The End of the Line!

[suicide King] He has the match won! What is he doing?

[Cassius runs into the ropes to the right of him and Dan. Cassius bounces into the ropes, and comes running back to where he started. Cassius leaps over Dan, and continues his way to the ropes to the left of where him and Dan started. Cassius bounces into the ropes, and comes running back to where Dan is laying on the mat. Cassius stops right next to Dan. Cassius throws his leg out above Dan, and holds it there, right before dropping the elbow. But before Cassius can drop the elbow, Dan flips over onto his side, and wraps his legs around Cassius' free leg, which is the right leg that Dan had locked in the half crab earlier in the match. Dan pulls on Cassius' leg, and due to Cassius having his other leg in the air, loses his balance, and falls face first to the mat! Dan holds his wrap around Cassius leg, and begins pulling and wrenching on it, with a Reverse Achilles' Tendon Hold!]

[Axis] Reverse Achilles' Tendon Hold by Dan Caldwell, countering Cassius Atkinson's End of the Line from out of nowhere!

[suicide King] It was the same leg Dan was working on before, too!

[Cassius begins going insane, as he throws his arms around, trying to get out of the submission move, but Dan is the stronger of the two, so Cassius has nowhere to go. The pain in the right leg was already bad enough, but Cassius has nowhere to go, and Scott Solomon is still out on the outside of the ring after the Tiger Driver. After about half a minute in the hold, Cassius finally taps out, knowing there was nothing he could do. The referee signals for the bell, and this match is over.]

[Axis] Dan Caldwell with the submission victory over Cassius Atkinson with a Reverse Achilles' Tendon Hold! A submission expert like Dan Caldwell knew what he was doing the whole time, and he picks up his first win in the SJL thanks to it!

[Funyon] Here is your winner, via submission. Dan "The Phoenix" Caldwell!

["Guerilla Radio" by Rage Against the Machine starts up over the PA again, as Dan releases the hold on Cassius. Cassius rolls out of the ring, holding his knee in pain, as Dan holds his arms in their calmly, claiming his victory after a long fought battle. Dan climbs out of the ring, and makes his way to the back to celebrate his first victory in the SJL!]

[Axis] Amazing match by amazing talent. That Dan Caldwell has one hell of a future ahead of him! But fans, we have some more action left tonight, as Crow defends the SJL Championship, against Viktor Tarakanov in a Vodka Shot match!

[suicide King] I can't wait to see that!
