Guest Mole Report post Posted May 23, 2003 I went to Ireland this past week, and I learned a lot of stuff about their culture, and this is what: 1. They are A LOT nicer. No matter what we asked, people were very nice about everything. I don't think I would get that in New York. 2. You can smoke just about everywhere. 3. Their TVs shows are about different things. I believe the show was The Bill, and it was about these two cops. They were investigation this women who tried to kill herself, by taking pills that weren't prescribed to her. You would never see that on a US show. 4. Not as much violence. I saw maybe 3 cops the whole time I was there, compared to NYC or Boston which there are MANY more. 5. It rained, rained, and rained. That is all I can think of the top off my head.
Guest oldschoolwrestling Report post Posted May 23, 2003 1. Did you tell them that their beloved son Vince is like Hitler? 2. Did they smell and have bad teeth? 3. Sounds like any cop show on tv. 4. Were you in a big city? 5. Sure you weren't in Seattle?

I'm sorry, but this is the most randomly funny thing I've read in ages. The Bill ROCKS btw. Oh and Dublin pretty much equals everywhere in the UK based on those five points. Apart from the friendly people. They were outlawed in the great war of 1958.

Guest What? Report post Posted May 23, 2003 No, he wasn't born in Ireland. Since his name is McMahon, and he's of Irish descent, then he's considered a "son of Ireland" or whatever. That doesn't make any sense. Pretty stupid thing to say, oldschoolwrestling
Guest the 1inch punch Report post Posted May 24, 2003 Well, Im from Ireland, so I should probably answer this ------------------------------------------------------------ (1. They are A LOT nicer. No matter what we asked, people were very nice about everything. I don't think I would get that in New York.) -You wernt on O'Connell Strret after 12 o'clock, you get assaulted then (2. You can smoke just about everywhere. ) -As of January 04, you wont be (3. Their TVs shows are about different things. I believe the show was The Bill, and it was about these two cops. They were investigation this women who tried to kill herself, by taking pills that weren't prescribed to her. You would never see that on a US show.) -Thats The Bill, a british show thats been running for about 9 billion years. Personally i hate it (4. Not as much violence. I saw maybe 3 cops the whole time I was there, compared to NYC or Boston which there are MANY more.) -Sorry, but theres loads more violence, especially at night 5. It rained, rained, and rained. -Does that a lot --------------------
