Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted May 25, 2003 It was confirmed earlier today by Sports Navi/Yahoo! that Ultimo Dragon will be in Mobile, Alabama Monday night for RAW. Whether he will participate in the show itself isn't known at this time, but it appears he's just meeting with WWE officials about plans for his debut. Dragon was originally scheduled to join WWE on 5/18 at the Judgment Day Pay-Per-View, but his debut had to be postponed due to problems with his visa. (Thanks to Sports Navi/Yahoo!) # Chavo Guerrero is expected to miss as much as four months of action after tearing his bicep at last week's Velocity taping. The planned finish for Judgment Day was for Los Guerreros to capture the Smackdown Tag Team Titles, and officials decided to stick with the plan but with Tajiri in Chavo's place. # A few WWE officials felt Zach Gowen (aka Tenacious Z) came across looking heel-like by looking over confident while standing in Hulk Hogan's corner at Judgment Day. # Apparently, Christian was asked several times by WWE officials to cut his hair but was always against the idea. The promise of a reign as Intercontinental Champion may have been what persuaded him to change his mind. (Thanks to The Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter) # Nathan Jones recently became upset with his role on WWE television and actually threatened to quit the company and return to Australia. John Laurinatis (aka Johnny Ace) talked him into staying, and there's a rumor floating around the locker room that he was given a pay raise, but those reports have yet to be confirmed. There was talk of having Jones and The Undertaker take part in an eight-man tag match with John Cena and The F.B.I. at Judgment Day, but those plans were scrapped when The Undertaker decided to hold off his return until Tuesday's Smackdown taping in order to spend a few more days with his wife and new daughter. # The Triple H/Stephanie McMahon segment at Judment Day may have been the seed planted for an angle for them to reunite for a TV wedding this fall. The two are scheduled to be wed in October. (Thanks to The Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter) # Brock Lesnar stated in a recent interview on WWE.com's Byte This! webcast that he is still experiencing neck pain as a result of the botched Shooting Star Press at WrestleMania. "Yeah, my neck is still bothering me a little bit. And in conjunction, it follows all the way down my lower back, so I have some lower back problems now. It just comes with the name of the game. I mean, if I woke up one day and I wasn't sore or I wasn't hurting somewhere, I'd think I was dead." Lesnar also stated that a rib injury he suffered a while back is still bothering him to the point where he had his doctor give him a cortisone shot to ease the pain. # Jeff Hardy continues to tell friends that he has no interest in working Independent dates. The door is still open for him to join NWA-TNA if he should decide to change his mind. The rumor going around the WWE locker room is said management asked Matt Hardy if he could talk his brother into entering a drug rehabilitation center. Matt said that he would, but told them he wasn't sure if he'd have any luck since Jeff is his own man. (Thanks to The Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter) # There is a weak rumor floating around that Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels may take place at Bad Blood. # According to a source in Puerto Rico, WWE has offered Carly Colon a two year developmental contract and will begin working in Ohio Valley Wrestling on June 2nd. Colon will likely not remain in OVW for long, and he's only been sent there to learn the "WWE style". # Hurricane on The Rock and Ric Flair In his latest "Diary of a Serial Thriller," The Hurricane comments on his recent rivalry with The Rock, Monday's impromptu tribute to Ric Flair, the Hardy Boyz autobiography and more. We've reprinted the column here. Continue... (Thanks to Mark Roth & WWE.com)

Scary to think still that they planned on T.A to drop the titles regardless and couldn't decide who to replace chavo with until the 11th hour... Oh Yeah...I saw the Heel-Ness in Gowan. X needed a hair cut anyways...Why do Canucks insist long hair and scraggly beards? DAMN YOU JOHNNY ACE! Tv wedding? Great... Will we get the Conception of HHH Junior LIVE on PPV? Lesnar gonna have pain for the next 20 years... Matt needs to let Jeff do his own thing... HBK/Flair been rumored since the promo in December... Who is the Carly guy and do I care? Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted May 25, 2003 # A few WWE officials felt Zach Gowen (aka Tenacious Z) came across looking heel-like by looking over confident while standing in Hulk Hogan's corner at Judgment Day. I didn't know confidence=heel. Geez, shouldn't someone like RVD be the biggest heel in the business than? # Nathan Jones recently became upset with his role on WWE television and actually threatened to quit the company and return to Australia. Why not just let him go than? Does he really add anything to the roster? Let's face it, strong and big guys in wrestling are a dime a dozen and there are actual good ones out there. Why put up with a talentless prima donna? # The Triple H/Stephanie McMahon segment at Judment Day may have been the seed planted for an angle for them to reunite for a TV wedding this fall. The two are scheduled to be wed in October. Um, okay. That will be, um, interesting. Geez, how many weddings has 'ol Steph been in? First the Test one, than the Triple H one, then the Billy/Chuck one. And all of them have had a twist to them. Hmmm...

Maybe if he attacked people with his prostetic leg.... Hell if he truly is able to wrestle with one leg to begin with, i would see him as a Heel WHACKING people with his limb...and even forcing the refs to consider it legal because he came down to the ring with it to walk around and cannot be considered a foreign object much like Hogan's belt usually isn't taken away for being a foreign object. Guest wrestlingbs Report post Posted May 25, 2003 God, just fire Jones already. This guy has been way more trouble than he is worth. The only thing that was good about him were his pre-arrival video segments. If Ultimo goes to Raw expect him to fued with Jericho, get squashed by either HHH, NAsh, or Steiner, and then disappear. I fully expect that to happen.
Guest CanadianChick Report post Posted May 25, 2003 Hmm, there seems to be a pattern with blond Canadians. A while ago, Val Venis cut his hair, no one thought anything of it though. And then Test cut his hair, which, in my opinion was a bad move because his horse face is now more of a focus. And now, Christian cut HIS hair. All these guys are blond (formerly long haired) Canadians on Raw. So either Jericho or Trish is next.

Guest The Tino Standard Report post Posted May 25, 2003 I remember when those awesome Nathan Jones promo videos were airing and the general buzz was that if he had ANY wrestling ability, he could get over like gangbusters. Well, he doesn't. And now we get this stuff where he does NOTHING of worth on television in three months and gets a RAISE for it? If he came to me with that sort of a primadonna attitude, the response would be "Mr. Jones, don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out."

Bored 0 Report post Posted May 25, 2003 Well what do you know...Jeff Hardy is baaaack...well okay he wrestled an independent show last night. Pulled this off the Wienerboard: Yes, you read it right Jeff Hardy has returned to the wrestling world by fighting some guy in ICW. Hardy, then guised as "Willow The Wisp (or "Will O' The Wisp," depending on what news site you hear this from)" was pinned. Outraged, he pulled a swanton bomb and was unmasked to be Jeff Hardy.
