Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 Directly from "wwe.com": Bradshaw's Open Letter to Triple H by Bradshaw May 26, 2003 Disclaimer: These views are those of John Layfield, aka Bradshaw, and not necessarily those of World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. There's something I've been meaning to get off my chest... and I think it's time I finally come right out and do it. I'm not sorry if this offends any of you, because this is still the U.S. of A, land of the free, and if you don't like it, you can get the F out. I think the best way for me to do this is via prose. So I wrote this little song, straight from the heart, and I hope it reaches its intended target. To the tune of the Beatles' "Yesterday". I Believe In Triple-H (click here to listen) by John "Bradshaw" Layfield Triple-H Once you carried bags for HBK Now it looks as though you're here to stay Oh I believe in Triple-H Stephanie She's not half the lover I could be Don't be blinded by her ovaries Cuz I can be your Stephanie Why they hate you so I don`t know, they wouldn't say You did nothing wrong Now I long for Triple-H Triple-H Cuz it's all about the game today Chris and Booker needn't even play Oh I believe in Triple-H I break in your home When I know that you're away I stare at your thongs And I long for Triple-H Triple-H Now the cops want to lock me away So I need a place to hide away Cuz I believe in Triple-H... ...yes I believe in Triple-H Special thanks to ScoopThis!'s NoSoul for helping me put my feelings into words. See you next week.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 ...what the FUCK? My reaction as well, just after I nearly threw up a days worth of barbeque. Downloading the MP3 now..it will take a while..
Bored Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 This confirms it. Confirms what? You people do know this is a joke and wasn't written by Bradshaw, right? RIGHT?
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 The song adds a whole new dimension to it, but its not Bradshaw singing so it loses points there. "I believe in HHH" - a sure fire #1 Hit!
Adam Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 Oh my god. Is Bradshaw taking the same stuff as Jeff Hardy?
Guest Skironox Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 Oh my god. Is Bradshaw taking the same stuff as Jeff Hardy? Yes. Each other.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 What the fuck? *snickers* This is funny.
Guest wwF1587 Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 ::looks down:: ok I KNOW i did not eat that for lunch...
Guest Trivia247 Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 tries to remember the age average the smarks are. lol
Guest Nanks Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 Did this seriously come off the wwe website??? If so, it seems as though someone's hacked it and that rocks. Awesome work whoever's responsible, that's gold
Guest JDMattitudeV1 Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 Banyer mode on: Thats Gold! Gold Jerry!
Guest Nanks Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 Well either Marvin is full of shit and taking us for a ride or the site was indeed hacked and has already been fixed up. I can't see that anywhere on the site.
Guest sean pyro Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 just download the song man.. theres no way anyone could mimic bradshaws voice like that.
Guest El Psycho Diablo Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 Well either Marvin is full of shit and taking us for a ride or the site was indeed hacked and has already been fixed up. I can't see that anywhere on the site. It's called a parody. Yeah..
Guest NoCalMike Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 someone needs to copy and archive the wwe page that this poem/song is on. Send it to wrestlecrap ASAP. This is pretty funny, although obviously BS.
Bored Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 tries to remember the age average the smarks are. lol No shit...*looks at Trivia247's birthdate*...we're both above the average. Even then its not a very good excuse if your over the age 16. Oh and also no one has ever heard of ScoopThis! apparantly.
Guest Nevermortal Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 Wow, you guys get worked easily. Its a ScoopThis! parody, as evidenced by the MP3's URL.
Guest Skironox Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 I know scoopthis... I Thought that site got taken down 3 years ago?
Guest wrestlingbs Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 I'm not shocked. When Bradshaw came out in that cowboy hat and those boots I knew this day would come.
Guest Jobber of the Week Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 I know scoopthis... I Thought that site got taken down 3 years ago? Dusty The Fat Bitter Cat is a columnist at 1Wrestling and made some overtures to the rest of the guys (at least one of which became a 411 columnist) to get the party started again. And of course, since 411 is like the WWE reaching for everything from Keith to Hyatte to ScoopThis to try and get some hits ("hey, remember this!") they're hosting the new updates. They didn't even add a "This isn't real" disclaimer to the faux WWE page, thus leaving themselves open to a lawsuit. Stupid.
Guest Nanks Posted May 27, 2003 Report Posted May 27, 2003 So to totally clarify everything for me, this is just a parody on some website. This was not actually posted on wwe.com by someone who hacked the site. Right??
