Television tapings

Recommended Posts

I'd say it probably was the Barbershop. And yes I do have that Diesel/Yoko match on tape as well, you can even see me in the crowd if you look hard enough at times at the top left of the screen on closeups.

My first RAW was immediately after the PPV with Austin-Taker's Buried Alive match...Neither were there because of it...I think Mankind wrestled two or three matches (one for Heat)...Kane was carried off in a straight jacket to force him to join the Corporation...Vince drew number 30 in the Royal Rumble...Show started with DX parody of the Corporation, Shawn Michaels telling HHH he doesn't main event he only hangs out with main eventers, and Rock using other famous catchphrases to put his over... ME was Rock vs. HHH and featured the debut of Test.

My second RAW was the famous WCW RAW in Tacoma that killed the Invasion...ME was THAT bad, never seen a crowd turn on a show so viciously...Nothing worthwhile happened on the show other than Kurt and Austin competing for Vince's hugs.

My third RAW was last summer...this was leading to Rock-Brock so Brock was sitting in the crowd...HHH cut a promo on Shawn and teamed with the Un-Americans against Rock, Undertaker, Booker T and Goldust in the ME...Matt Hardy turned on Jeff...Highlight was after the show when they did a 20-30 minute skit trying to get Taker to do a Spinarooni, we got the Spinarooni several times, the Fagarooni (Goldust), the Macarooni (Vince), the Rockarooni, and the Triplerooni.

The next night I went to Smackdown that was previously mentioned with Benoit-Rock...Matt Hardy jumped to SD that night...

Then there was WrestleMania XIX.

A few more televised shows I didn't mention in my previous posts:

Raw, 8/24/98

Sunday Night Heat taping...It was November 98, can't remember the exact date, but it was the Sunday after HBK turned on DX to join the Corporation. Matches I can remember were Kaientai Vs the Acolytes, X-Pac Vs Mark Henry, and a title match between Rock,Austin, Kane, Mankind and Taker...I think.

Raw in July 2001 (Return of the Rock)

I was at RAW the week before (night after Invasion)

I was also at RAW in November 1999 (Vince goes to jail, then at the end of the show comes out and throws HHH off the ramp)

Never been to an old school tv taping. Been to a handful of Raw/Heat/Jakked/Smackdown tapings . . . but at a 3/98 Raw (Tyson joins DX), they taped 2 or 3 matches for Los Super Astros. Nice little peek at something different.
