Money...12/7/02 -Conspicous is the absence of the 9/21 Michael Shane ladder streetfight and the Epic Encounter match, although those matches are basically the only reasons to buy Unscripted and EE respectively. I imagine RF didn't want to hurt ROH tape sales by including them on this one. Also, London vs. Angel Dust is only 2 minutes long, but all the other matches range from solid-very good. EL DANDY~! 0 Report post Posted May 29, 2003 so you'd advise to get the ROH tapes before getting this one? Because from what I heard, the ROH matches with Shane are absolutely awesome.
Guest ShooterJay Report post Posted May 29, 2003 London/Shane 9/21 should be absolutely required viewing. Same with Epic Encounter. I have the Shane match listed on this tape (the "Honor Invades Boston" one), it's somehere between *** and ***1/2. Solid with a good storyline, nothing spectacular. If you really want to see London's three best matches IMO, they're on Unscripted, Night of the Butcher, and Epic Encounter. (as I said, none of which are on here) However, this tape is still a very good pickup, with a ton of lesser known and Japan stuff.

Guest HollywoodSpikeJenkins Report post Posted May 30, 2003 (edited) London/Shane 9/21 should be absolutely required viewing. Same with Epic Encounter. You must be kidding. That match is so overrated, it's sickening. I mean, I can understand it being so great in front of a live crowd, but if you are going to tell me that it is a five star match, and a MOTYC, then you are mistaken my friend. It was nothing but a spot fest, a good one at that, yes, but not even near *****. *** I will give it. Edit: I am talking about the street fight from Unscripted.
