Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted May 31, 2003 FX...Buffy reruns and the best show on tv, The Shield Tech TV...yeah yeah, I need my Morgan Webb fix. Plus it's good sometimes. MTV2...not as great as they think they are. But they actually play a few videos every now and then. G4...the all video game channel. I don't watch it a lot. But I can usually turn it there and be simi interested in whatever's on. Plus is has the underrated Laura Foy. WB...even though I don't get the channel. I download Angel and Smallville, so I guess I'm grateful for having those on. UPN and their sucky line up can go to hell now that Buffy's over.

Guest razazteca Report post Posted May 31, 2003 Comedy Central for the 18 hours of SNL reruns Cartoon Network for the Anime and Adult Swim ESPN for the Sports Talk Galavision for the weekend Lucha Libre USA because I need to watch the same movie on heavy rotation 20 times a month. Van Damn and Adam Sandler movies never get tired.
Guest WrestlingDeacon Report post Posted May 31, 2003 Game Show Network-Although they show way too many new game shows these days. TV Land-I like that they rotate the lineup a lot and go through phases of different shows, like right now they're showing a lot of old family sitcoms. Comedy Central-Usually the channel I just leave on during the evening when nothing else is on, but outside of South Park, Daily Show and the Dave Chapelle Show I can't say a lot of their stuff is among my favorites. Jimminy Glick and Tough Crowd are atrocious. Sci-fi Network-Mostly I watch the mid-day blocks of shows like Buck Rogers, Battlestar Galatica and the Fantasy Island remake. Much like Game Show, they need to stick to the cheesey standards that fans love. Vh-1 Classic-All videos all the time for the most part and they have a nice mix of legends with stuff you've never heard of. Honorable mention to Cartoon Network for Adult Swim, but I watch little rest on the network. And to ESPN for the staple that is Sports Center and the best show on television in PTI. I hate Rome is Burning and Around the Horn which are just third rate PTI rip-offs without the humor and smart views.

Guest CanadianChris Report post Posted May 31, 2003 Being in Canada, some of these might be foreign to some... TSN - for Raw, hockey of all types, PTI, Off The Record, Sports Reporters, ESPN football coverage, and the occasional Blue Jays game CBS - for CSI, The Amazing Race, and sports Golf Channel - Duh... DejaView - like TVLand in the states...classic TV RULES! Space: The Imagination Station - for Star Trek and Buffy reruns, and first-run Angel Game Show Network used to be on this list, until all the first-run crap came on. I so wish they'd bring back The Price Is Right.
PsychoDriver 0 Report post Posted May 31, 2003 I don't watch much TV but here's what I do watch: In no order Cartoon Network: For Adult Swim alone... Only thing they have worth watching since they moved all the old cartoons to the Boomerang channel (which I don't get) VH1 Classic: A Music channel playing music. Great concept. Tech TV: I like Extended Play/X-Play, but no offense to any Morgan Webb fans but she does not belong on X-Play. she seems out of place, kills the show's flow. TV Land: They play alot of crap but I like few shows ScFi: For MSt3k and Twilight Zone Other: ESPN News/Classic Movie channels: TCM, FCM, IFC, Encore Mystery/Action, 5 Star Max, Showtime Beyond: have good stuff Channels I hate: AMC: Die you sell out bastards. MTV: See AMC TNN/Spike TV: I dislike their phony "attitude" and I still blame them for killing ECW.
Guest Kingpk Report post Posted May 31, 2003 For a channel to be in my Top 5, it must have more than one show that I enjoy watching regularly, so that takes out FX, unfortunately Comedy Central History Channel The Food Network (Emeril, Iron Chef, Unwrapped and Oliver's Twist are all fine programs) TBS (the Nonstop Comedy Block>you) ESPN Classic I'm still stuck in the Dark Ages with basic cable, but I plan to get digital by winter. Guest DerangedHermit Report post Posted June 1, 2003 My favorite channels: 1) Comedy Central 2) E! or VH1 (tie) 3) Cartoon Network 4) ESPN 5) Fox Sports Net (NY) Too bad that FSNY (and MSG Network) is being removed as of June 30th and being moved to pay cable ($4.95 for those two and YES Network). We get Disney Channel (which was formerly pay) and Turner Classic Movies (same thing) then, though. Ugh. Fuck Cablevision with one exception: Optimum Online. SO much better than AOL it's not even funny.

Guest bravesfan Report post Posted June 1, 2003 Comedy Central - though it's only because of Insomniac, The Chapelle Show and Comedy Central Presents, that I even bother with this station anymore. ESPN - Sportscenter. Pardon The Interruption. Yeah. TBS - Re-runs of Seinfeld and Saved By The Bell have me transfixed onto his station, until their DVD releases TNN - umm... RAW. And Slammin' Saturday Night. Game Show Network - Lingo and Let's Make A Deal are two worth waiting out the crap for.

Guest Youth N Asia Report post Posted June 1, 2003 YNA: Have you seen Martin Sargent's show "Unscrewed"? I saw it for the first time the other night, and I was surprised what they could get away with. Martin interviewed Heather from ideepthroat.com. I saw a minute of it just a couple minutes ago. I think he's ok, but I was shocked what they just got away with. They did a bit on a sex toy that stimulates your privates that works accordingly to what the girl is doing on the screen...let certain langauge go by that I didn't think would on the overly friendly Tech TV...but his co-host is hot. And whoever just mentioned AMC...I shit you not, Halloween 5 is on that channel right this minute. Kinda funny how American Movie CLASSICS! is showing a turd like that. Guest treble charged Report post Posted June 1, 2003 (edited) TBS - I can honestly watch that channel all day long (and I usually don't even watch the Non-Stop Comedy Block). From Dawson's Creek to Saved By The Bell to Family Matter to The Cosby Show to Fresh Prince and finally to Roseanne, I hardly ever change the channel if I'm at home. Plus, baseball (even if it is the Braves). TSN/SportsNet/The Score - I'm lumping them all together because these 3 channels make up the bulk of my prime time viewing. Hockey, baseball, and wrestling, not to mention I can catch highlights pretty much whenever I want (mostly on the Score). The Score's hockey analysts are pretty weak (Kay Whitmore?!?? Apparently being a backup goalie for 5 years qualifies you for employment on low buget sports channels), but TSN's and SportsNet's are pretty good. CBC - Hockey Night in Canada. Enough said. MuchMusic - I tend to like some of their prime time shows over what they show during the day, though. CityTV - They show movies uncensored most of the times. I like that.
