Which guy/girl were you in high school?

Recommended Posts

Guest welshjerichomark

I was reading things that people wrote in my school year book, it was interesting finding out what other people thought of me.

So what person were you in high school? the weirdo? jock? satan worshipper? what did people think of you?

It seems from my school year book that i was the dangerously laid-back girl who was to be found falling asleep in science lessons.

Ending junior year right now...I think I'd be the quiet observer guy...the one who doesn't say much and just observes things. Although, surprisingly I'm fairly popular with most people in my school even if they all deny it.

I dunno what I was. Freshman and sophmore year I was quiet and kept to myself, and by senior year I was one of the more popular people in the school. I was pretty much the class clown.

The guy who dated someone for almost three years, which I would be SURE to end up getting married to. We were a quiet, average, normal couple.

We broke up a few days after graduation.

I was the quiet guy...pretty much knew everyone and everyone knew me. Don't bug me and I won't bug you.

The quiet guy who did a 180 and became the rebellious geek that drove his teachers crazy.

The kid that you forget about. You'll be looking through your yearbook, and be all "Who the fuck is that kid?" That's me.

First 3 years: The guy that blew off his friends 90% of the time so he could relax and play video games in his basement.

Senoir Year: Average guy that hung around with a few good friends, made fun of everyone else (usually behind their backs). I also started saying a ton of curse words around this time. That's a habit I have to break.

9th - loser with no friends

10th - loser with friends

11th - pothead

12th - respected nice guy

Somewhere around 4th grade I stopped playing baseball and doing cub-scouts and stuff. I was pretty much "the fat kid" up until high school.

Started playing football in 9th grade, was still dejected. In 10th grade I became friends again with the kids I grew up with, and they introduced me to pot. I starred in my high school musical, which was kind of cool. Last year (11th grade) I fucked alot of stuff up. I had my first real girlfriend and I took for granted that very fact, leading to my dismissal. Also, the girl I was obsessed with since 8th grade revealed she was a lesbian.

That REALLY fucking hurt. I had feelings for her, and I know she had feelings for me.

This year, I'm a senior - all is good. Played football for the fourth straight year, got an honorable mention for league all-stars. I'm semi-popular, kind of the dark-horse class clown. I'm going to a local college next year to study Pre-Law.

Basically, if I can give any advice from my life so far, it is to be kind to others, and to be yourself.

Good guys *DO* finish first.

The signatures in my yearbook said one of two things: "Hail Satan", or "Congrats on nailing so and so!" I was somewhere around there.

Ending junior year right now...and everybody seems to think of me as the horror-loving metalhead that can be an asshole while being your best friend, and could talk about any topic.

the one who never spoke if he was in a large group, but could talk literally non-stop for 5 minutes straight if he was making a concious effort to do so, and complained a lot, but not unjustifiedly (is that a word?) so, and had a lot of good ideas but none of them came to fruition and probably won't get a great job even though he deserves one because he's kindof lazy but gets good grades if he likes the teacher, and wears all black and pretty much hates everybody except for 5 people in the entire school and two who go to the tech school, and is oft. suspected of maybe harboring thoughts of bringing a gun to school and killing everybody even tho he's too meek to actually kill anybody except for somebody like a serial child rapist/murderer *gasps, falls over*

I was pretty bubbly and outgoing. I knew a lot of people in school and a lot of people knew me, but I had a handful of people who I truly called friends. I was a member of a lot of clubs, on the drill team, loved drama club, and was really involved in school. I guess you could say I was Miss School Spirit. I am still friendly, just not to the sick extreme that I was in high school. :D And most of my classes were advanced placement and honors. It was important for to get good grades... so in a way, I guess I was kinda nerdy too.

I was quiet but normal. Got along with almost everyone, and the people I didn't were jerks. For other reasons besides me not liking them.

Well, I'm the girl who can pretty much talk to anybody. There is literally no one in my grade I can't at least say hi to and make small talk. I'm also the gal all the guys see as a friend and not really anything else. Oh, and I'm also the girl people know not to piss off, because I don't have the best of tempers. Couple dumbasses have learned that the hard way...

I was the guy that everyone knew, was friends with everyone. I wasn't the most popular guy, but I got along with everyone. I did go to a small high school, 60 kids in my grade, but I was friends with most people in my school.

I was quiet, but I didn't study enough to be the geek. I played hockey, though I wasn't a jock.

Definitely not a jock... I was the benchwarmer on the basketball team this year (my senior year).

Definitely not popular, although I am friends with some of the "popular" kids in the grade.

Definitely a nerd, because I got the highest ACT score in our school and don't try to get good grades.

I'm basically the kid that has a ton of friends around the school in many different social groups and tries to be nice to everybody. I used to be really shy (frosh and soph years), but now I "came out of my shell" and started to converse with tons more people and have lots more friendships than I used to have.

I was the guy (feels weird using past tense to describe high school) who had a small group of real friends that knew the 'real' me and until last year, I was pretty quiet in class, although I did let shades of my real self shine through every now and again. This year, I just totally let myself out and most of the kids who had spent years labeling me as the dork or whatever, basically did a 180 with how they saw me and I guess as things ended, I'm the kid who was "hilarious" and a "smartass," and so forth. Most of the people who signed my yearbook just note how funny I am and a few of them call me the funniest person they know, so hey, it's all good I guess. Overall, I'd say I was that kid with a relatively small group of good friends, lots of "associates" and not hated by anyone, but not really acknowledged on a regular basis by the popular clique.

Pretty much sums me up. I wouldn't consider myself to be "Mr. Popular" in the school, but I am the guy that everyone likes in their company.

Too bad it took me about 18 years to get to this point.

I was pretty quiet and kept to myself a lot for the first few years. I knew everyone and they knew me, but I decided to be on my own for a couple years.

When I finally did come out of my shell, by discovering I could make people laugh quite easily, I started making real friends instead of just "aquaintences" and never looked back.
