Guest EdwardKnoxII Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Another Jurassic Park on its way.... dansjp3page.com reports that tour guides in Hawaii are telling visitors that Jurassic Park 4 is slated to begin shooting later this year. Jurassic Park 4 is rumored to be in development, with Steven Spielberg once again executive producing, and Stan Winston once again working on makeup and robotic effects. Plotlines and characters, however, are being kept under tight wraps. Credit: cinecon.com Great another shitty JP movie. Hollywood is really out of ideas.
Guest Renegade Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 I think enough was enough after the cell phone scene.
Guest Mole Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 They should of stopped after the first one.
Yuna_Firerose Posted May 31, 2003 Report Posted May 31, 2003 Oh...good...grief. *yawn* What's the point of wasting millions of dollars for a movie that NOONE cares to see? Oh, wait... so the producers can get those millions of dollars. Yeah...makes perfect sense. They should of stopped after the first one. I was thinking the exact same thing when I wrote the above.
Guest EdwardKnoxII Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 QUOTE They should of stopped after the first one. I was thinking the exact same thing when I wrote the above. That's what I was thinking too. In fact I don't know many people that did like the last 2.
Guest EdwardKnoxII Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 LET IT DIE When you really think about it the same can be said of alot of the movies that are in the planning stages in Hollywood.
Guest Kagato Otaku Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 Excellent. I - for one - am happy to see more expensive dinosaur CG effects attack & eat the world's lesser known actors. Here's hoping Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum are in it.
Guest Nanks Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 I disagree they should've stopped after the first one. The Lost World was a better book than Jurassic Park IMO. I read each book before seeing each of the movies and when I found out they were planning the 2nd movie I'd just put down the book, so I was excited for it. They butchered the Christ out of it obviously, but it was worth a try. The 3rd movie can fuck off and die though, they weren't adapting a book for that one, it was just rubbish. Pretend dinosaur indeed...
Guest wrestlingbs Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 I liked the third one, but really, do we need another JP movie? What are they going to do now, have Sam Neil go into the a horrific future where dinosaurs have enslaved humans? Because that's all there is left to do. Jurrassic Park 4: We've run out of ideas.
Guest kane3212321 Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 Actually the third one was my favourite of all the three movies. The scene in the Aviary thought ripped out of the first book was very very well done.
Guest Kagato Otaku Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 What pretend dinosaur? If you're talking about the Spinosaur, it exists (or did, a few millions years back anyway). Or maybe you're thinking of that "talking" raptor Grant dreams about on the plane. In any case, both the books & movies are guilty of embellishments or playing around with the facts to try to make the dinos more threatening or the story more entertaining.
Guest Smues Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 I just saw Jurassic Park 3 for the first time last night. It was junk, but enjoyable junk for the most part, but that ending completely killed it. I mean what the HELL was that?
Guest Marshall Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 I'd love another JP movie. Better than another Terminator movie or Beveley Hills Cop 4.
Guest Vitamin X Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 I forgot the ending to Jurassic Park 3, but it truly was tripe from what I remember. Talking raptors? WTF?! Though it was still MUCH better than The Lost World. That was MUCH MUCH worse, it turned Jurassic Park into more of a drama than an action/adventure flick. I'm interested to see what the hell they would come up with for the 4th one. And surely Speilberg wouldn't get into a project that wouldn't make him more money...
Guest Retro Rob Posted June 1, 2003 Report Posted June 1, 2003 I love the first JP. The rest of them utterly sucked.
