Has anyone else seen this ?

I am usually at the Movies every week. Out of most of the Movies i've seen this year... it was one of the worst, but I enjoyed in a guilty pleasure sort of way.

The movie keep me on the edge of my seat not knowing what is going to happen next. And call me a Pussy but, THIS MOVIE SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME.

For those who should know by now, it is very violent and some may think it's disturbing.

PS: I am never scared of horror films but, wow...

I fucking LOVED this movie. It's not a work of art, but it's great for what it is, even with the various chiches, etc...

It reminded me of the love sex child of Deliverance and The Hills Have Eyes, heh.

I liked it better than a lot of recent "horror", something about it just really went over very well with me.

I'll give a full review if anyone wants.

I think so, but I'm not 100% sure. I took it as that.

Never heard of this movie, odds are I won't watch it, but from your relatively glowing reviews it doesn't sound like one of the worst movies of the year...

It's about some kids who get in a car accident I believe and end up stranded in the woods hunted by people who are horribly disfigured by generations of inbreeding.

Interesting concept... I'll give it that much.

It's not the worst movie of the year, and not the best. I f'n loved it a LOT more than House of 1,000 Corpses.

I mark for Owen Wilson. Hansel is one of my favorite characters of his... about equal with Dignan and behind Roy O'Bannon.

it looked like a POS from the TV spots, but I saw one of those preview things they do for movies and it actually looked really good. I'll give it a look see if I can

Some of my friends viewed it and said the gore was REALLY impressive. Can't go wrong there. Any reviews on that aspect?

I enjoyed this movie more than anything else I've seen this year.

That can either be a compliment towards this movie...or a slam on all the other ones...

take your pick.

ALL of my friends are telling me to see this movie. The trailer for it doesn't give it justice they say. I must see it.......

I saw it too. It's not a classic but compared to what I've seen lately and the state of horror the past couple of years it's a friggin masterpiece. It could've been better but it could've been worse. It did the impossible and managed to be quite a lot like old school horror movies. It was what Corpses was hyped to be but never fully reached. I never once thought that this one was a rip off of anything. It had all the same ingrediants as other movies but it never seemed stale and recycled.

I knew it would be good as soon as I saw Elisha Dushku say..."How can you make a horror movie that's not rated R, you know? You lose all the fun!" Yeah, you go girl.

I thought it was awful. This is coming from someone who likes Texas Chainsaw Massacre and all the old slasher movies too. I thought this might revive the "slasher genre" too. :(
