Theoretically, but not in reality. The Tag Titles are meaningless when you don't have a competitive division.

Just curious as I haven't seen Tajiri and Eddie together. Do they have actual unique double team moves or just do the generic abdominal stretch/kick that every other tag team does endlessly?

They mostly "Cheat to Win!" Eddie and Tajiri are the main reason I'm watching Smackdown. I'm a little confused why multiple tag teams aren't on Smackdown. We've got Team Angle, Eddie & Tajiri, FBI, Benoit & Rhyno, Big Show & A-Train, and now the Basham Brothers. And the APA is coming soon!!! (Sarcasm Over)

 

That seems to be a tag division to me. Just because WWE focuses the division team vs. team until the feud ends does not make it one note.

Triple R has a point. Its the same gripe I have about the women's division--there's only one angle usually going on at the division at any given time. They could do more if they more effectively used the TV time they have, but they waste it with recaps and stupid backstage bull.

Yeah, in every division there should at least be a champion (a), a #1 contender (b), 2 guys challenging to be the #1 contender ©, and 3 other potential guys to challenge to be the #1 contender (d). With this set, you can start working the combinations.

I caught the Eddie and Tajiri vs Team Angle stuff on SD! last week, and I thought the backstage stuff displayed some nice chemistry between Eddie and Tajiri. I also think their ring styles mesh in a nice way to make a tag team.

Most of all, I just think it needs to be pointed out that during that match, Eddie untied the tag rope, then re-tied it around the ring rope, so he could reach out further to make an easier tag. I will support anything that brings about such subtle and clever cheating.
