Guest ViciousFish Report post Posted June 1, 2003 # OVW officials are reportedly upset with WWE's decision to team Doug Basham with Dan "The Damaja" Hollie (The Basham Brothers), as the two were in the midst of a heated rivalry on OVW television. (Thanks to PWTorch.com) If it didn't happen in the WWE it didn't happen. I'm suprised they allow Booker to be the 5 time 5 time 5 time 5 time 5 time WCW champion

Well the WWE barely acknowledges it's own history from longer than a few months ago, so OVW officials should hardly be surprised they'd ignore history from another fed. Guest BobbyWhioux Report post Posted June 1, 2003 What a moveset! Man, I wish EVERYBODY had this many moves! WWE would just rule! It would be like a company filled with Litas and Jeff Hardys! ...and the sad thing? She *STILL* has more moves than current #1 Contender Kevin Nash.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted June 1, 2003 What did Sting think? That they were magically going to put the NWA title on him? He told McMAnus that he this would be his last tour...and he was surprised that he didn't win the title vs. title match? I thought Sting was smart.

Guest Trivia247 Report post Posted June 2, 2003 According to one source, Bill DeMott will be repackaged and returning to the SmackDown! brand under his old WCW "Hugh Morrus" gimmick. # WWE writer David Lagana is behind the idea of making Brock Lesnar look like a big-brother type to Rey Mysterio. The general feeling was that it makes Lesnar look good, helping the small underdog, and builds sympothy for Mysterio all at the same time. # As has been said all along, WWE has little-to-no interest in signing the Road Warriors a.k.a. the Legion of Doom to a contract. Some people think Vince McMahon brought the duo on one TV appearance and made them job clean to ruin their image. Dave “Fit” Finlay returned to work recently after being stuck for two weeks in Northern Ireland. The longtime in-ring competitor and current WWE agent is a citizen of that country. He was part of May’s SmackDown! tour of Europe, but ran into an incredible amount of red tape when he attempted to renew his visa. “Instead of taking 24 hours, it took two weeks almost,” Finlay said. “But I did take advantage by visiting with my family and taking my oldest son sightseeing. I got to do a lot of things over there. I took my son to the castle in my hometown -- Carrickfergus Castle -- which he hadn’t seen since he was 7 months old.” “But because of 9/11, they changed the policies from the last time I was there,” he said. “So instead of doing it in one day, I had to make an appointment, and when I went back for the appointment (three days later), they said I couldn’t do it there. I had to go to the North.” Apparently, people must now renew their visas at the embassy closest to their hometown, which for Finlay is Belfast, Northern Ireland. “Then it took five days to get an appointment in (Belfast),” he said. “The panic was that she couldn’t go out to the store and get food and stuff,” Finlay said. “My (2-year-old) daughter called at 3 in the morning going, ‘Daddy! Come home!’ That was heartbreaking. “We called a couple of friends, and they went shopping for the kids. A lot of people went around visiting, making sure everything was alright.” “They normally take five days to process (the visa),” he said. “But they were kind to me and knew who we were. They processed it the next morning.” And there was more good luck: As he was traveling to the embassy to pick up his visa, he heard on the radio that American officials had raised the security-alert level to orange, and therefore all the American embassies were closing. “But luckily the one in Belfast didn’t shut,” Finlay said. He got back to the U.S. on May 23, and was back at work last Monday at RAW in Mobile, Ala., content in the knowledge that he wouldn’t have to go through the visa-renewal process for the next five years. # Back when WWE was milking Elizabeth's death and Lex Luger's arrest each week on Confidential, Bruce Prichard had actually made some comments so negative about Lex Luger that they had to be edited out. # Expect Scott Steiner vs. Test to be announced for the first RAW-brand only pay-per view, Bad Blood, tonight on RAW. Also on RAW tonight, as mentioned a billion times, The Rock will be Chris Jericho's guest on the "Highlight Reel".
