Guest razazteca Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 56k but going half speed because of bad phone lines, bad drivers, and other things. I want Road Runner but it will be a long time before it gets here.
Guest MrRant Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 DSL now... Cable in June as my area is finally rebuilt and I get me free cable. I love working for Comcast.
Guest Flyboy Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Cable modem. Although, now I PAY for the bill...
Guest DrTom Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Cable, run thru a broadband router for the home network.
Guest HBK16 Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 I got slow 56K. My friend has T1 so I would always go to his house to download shit.
Guest treble charged Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 DSL at school, 56k at home. That's one thing I miss about being away at school.
Guest MaxPower27 Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Cable. I had a 56K since I got my old computer (about 8 years ago), and hated it. Now, DL's are GREAT, but the service sucks hard.
Guest Mole Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 T1 at school but 56K at home. When I go back to school next year, I'll be leaving in a house instead of a dorm, so I'll have a cable modem there. My connection at school BLOWS, so it will be faster at my house.
Guest Downhome Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 I have AOL DSL, and haven't paid a single cent since Jan.
Guest HBK16 Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 My school had T1 but since they had so many fucking computers it didnt seem like it.
Guest DrTom Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Now that I'm at work, I can safely say T3. It's about five times as fast as my cable at home, on average.
The Dames Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Sadly, I'm still on a damned 56k. I want to make the leap to Cable or DSL but there are too many obstacles in my way. Dames
Guest MrRant Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Now that I'm at work, I can safely say T3. It's about five times as fast as my cable at home, on average. T3.. only? Wuss.
Guest Retro Rob Posted June 2, 2003 Report Posted June 2, 2003 Cable at home. My school uses T3, but my home connection is much faster. Go figure.
Guest EMAXSAUN Posted June 3, 2003 Report Posted June 3, 2003 I have cable, but I cant wait until college in september because they have a dual oc3 internet connection, which is basically sick. When you download an mp3 on direct conenct at college, it is done the instant you double click on it.
Guest RenegadeX28 Posted June 3, 2003 Report Posted June 3, 2003 I am still on 56k. I have pleaded and pleaded with my mom for Cable, but she thinks it is TOO expensive, and she always says, "At least you have the internet!"
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted June 4, 2003 Report Posted June 4, 2003 Im the only one who has 28k, and although I have a 56k modem, I've never even seen 28k before, so its pretty stupid to say I've got a 56k modem. I would have said 14.4, but that wasn't an option. right now Im stuck on 16.8kbps. Fun stuff.
