If the exact same circumstances transcribed during 2000 instead of 2001, you wouldn't care about Angle fighting against Edge because they'd both be mega over. And just a question AS, if you think Angle should be relegated to only upper card fueds on the basis that he is a past champion, than how crowded will the main event scene be with Hogan, Rock, Austin, HHH, Jericho, Undertaker, Kane, Big Show, Nash, the nWo... Just a few months ago, Angle wasn't over at all, perhaps if he can help get people to care about Edge, I always have personally, it would help himself and the product overall.

I'm too lazy to go check. Angle should have gotten surgery straight after WM. Edge could have continued his Booker T feud easily, being as it only started the week before WM.

And while it's true that Angle probably should be in contention for the World Title, the fact of the matter is that he can't be in the spotlight all the time. Just give 'em a few months, and he'll get that strap around his waist in no time.

Angle working with the nWo is not a great ideal because the nWo are terrible in the ring, its nothing but rust there Brotha. Angle vs Edge would be good since both are near equals on the mic and this feud will elevate Edge beyond just being another Canadian talent. Can't wait for the Angle vs Edge Iron Man match!!!!!!

I think his second speaks for it's self but his first was at least better then Jericho's. Angle is one of my favorites if not my Favorite but I'm happy with him being at the mid-card level as along as he has good feuds and good matches. Which is pretty much a given. Angle can make Anyone look good. Him being at the mid-card level right now is alot better for his career then Main eventing right now. With all the bullshit politics that we keeping hearing about just thank God he isn't being made to look weak and non-threating like Jericho is. By the Way, the reason Kane leap frogged Angle is because Angle is way better off playing the Heel. Angle is pound for pound the best heel in the business and him feuding with the nWo would turn him babyface and after his summer run as Babyface, I can't imagine why you would want him as one.

It was the writing team putting him in the middle of a Tazz/Lawler feud which should have never been made in the first place. Then he was thrown the Tori "Mystery woman" storyline.
