Raven's flock

Everyone is bitching about the Raw roster after the split, and with good reason. My buddies and I thought it made Raw pretty bad, but the one positive is that there is the perfect opportunity to start Raven's flock on Raw. He was drafted by Flair's brand, and there are some wrestlers that could be put in the flock to find something to do.

I think D-Von would be good in the flock, D-Lo Brown, others. First, do you think the WWF is actually smart enough to restart the flock? And if so, who is in it?

Based on Raven appearing on Raw my flock would consist of:

Raven

Stevie (not Steven) Richards

Justin Credible

Jeff Hardy

Matt Hardy

Lita

i was always a big flock fan and i think it'd be great to bring them back as another thorn in flair's side.  putting d-von dudley in there would be a great idea IMHO, seeing as i don't think he'd do all that well by himself.  i think he would do well as a flock member, and could then eventually reunite with buh buh ray for another run as the dudleys.  steven richards, spike dudley, and justin credible would be other good candidates as well.  i think goldust would fit in quite well with the flock as well :P

let me throw in the hardyz and lita as well.  if they're going to keep them together, they HAVE to do something different with them...joining the flock would be a good start.

Don't turn it into one then.  If the Flock is created (something that has created rumors since raven signed with the WWF last, two years ago or whatever) then they should be pushed as a dangerous collective unit and not Jakked, Metal, and Heat jobbers.

I like the Hardys' in it

Lesnar not yet

Isn't Buh Buh on Raw, He'd be a good enforcer

Richards

Credible

Dreamer

A midcard stable is a great idea, en masse they get their members wins which don't hurt the M/E's. However I don't see any of the NWO or Taker jobbing to anyone on that list, so they'd be heel. RVD or Kane jobbing to Raven after the Hardys' run in. Fine by me.

The Flock ruled back in the wcw and then all they had was jobbers, why can't they do it again?

Has the Flock EVER been anything BUT Jobbers?

I wouldn't include Tommy in the flock either.  They need someone to feud with and if the WWF fans can get behind Tommy like the ECW fans did, then this feud could be huge.  Bring in Beulah too if they can find her!

All right I was joking on the last part.

The flock without SATURN is like, well, the flock without SATURN.

The Flock was mostly a stable of jobbers.  In ECW, everyone including your momma was in the flock(or nest).  The only mainstays were Raven and Steven Richards.

In WCW, from the looks of things, it was used for unknown wrestlers to make a name for themselves.  People like Sick Boy, Lodi, Kidman, and Saturn weren't Hogan's friends so they couldn't be put into the NWO and seeing the success of the nest in ECW, they decided to have one in WCW.  While this was used as a jumping tool for the wrestlers, only Kidman and Saturn reached superstardom when released from the flock.

Now since the only time that they actually got over with the crowd was when it was a small group consisting of Raven, Saturn, and Kanyon, I would make the flock small in the WWF.

The Flock would be:

Raven - the leader of course

Saturn - an inforcer type guy and since both him and Raven have great chemistry together

Kanyon - the dopey sidekick

Brock Lesner - the young future star, wreaking havoc on the whole WWF.

How about this: choose a wrestler who isn't a crippled aging jobber to lead a stable, and actually make it good.

I just want to take this time to say that I LOVE dreamer420's avatar pic.

Flock members:

Raven

Kanyon

One or both of the Hardyz

Either Kane or Lesner (I can see Raven getting either one of them)

Stevie Richards

Just as long as they don't fuck this up by shipping Raven or Dreamer to Smackdown during the trade, us St. Louis folk don't get smackdown

I think Stevie should use the name "Dude Love" but dress like his ECW character.  It is just a cool name...and fits Stevie somehow...

Styles: "Dudekick!"

It's funny some guy with the name "Hogan made wrestling" is calling Raven middle-aged, and crippled..and the jobber part, well he wasn't one in ECW, and he's had a little sucess in WCW taking the US Belt, and rarely losing there, I remember him jobbing out to Beniot in WCW but nothing wrong with that, the Beniot vs. The Flock fued helped Beniot a lot move up in the ranks.. He didn't do so well in the WWF unless you count being 11 time Hardcore Champion..now 12..man the Hardcore Belt sucks..3 more and he ties Crash's record..woo.

All in all he's not always jobbed, and is proven to go over well when he's given the right kind of push like he was in ECW, and at the start of his WCW stay.

My favorite part is how Bischoff pretty much said "Any wrestler who doesn't like it here can get out right now" or something a long those lines.  Raven gets up and leaves in front of the entire roster, and he's back in ECW the next day.  Guess I'll always be an ECW mark.   The only WCW exit as amusing to me was Sabu's table incidents in WCW.
